Hey Guys!

Just to answer your questions, when your 1 year is up you will be prompted to renew by credit card the next time you log in. (So you don't have to remember exactly when you expire) You only pay for 1 year at a time (at the $9.95 rate), but you can do that for the next 2 years.

Our price increased back in the fall because of a lot of upgrades we did to the site and the need to cover those costs as well as bringing on new staff to support our growing community.

Let me know if you have more questions!

So wait... I understand the part about re-joining at $9.95 a year for two years, but do you HAVE to sign up for two years or can you sign up for just one?

I think i paid $25 something for 13 weeks. I just signed up late last night. I'm sorry i missed the $9.95 deal. :(

I believe the price went up a couple of months ago. Not sure what the new rate is.

But I think this site is worth it. I'm locked in for another two years at the 9.95 rate, but this site has been such an inspiration.

Is sparkpeople changing their price to new people?

In all this computer programing, would it be hard to send an automatic reminder to re-up and how much? I know a lot of sites seem to have no problem reminding me when my payment is due!

We're sorry, we should have a better process in place. However, everyone who paid our yearly price of $9.95 will be able to rejoin for the next 2 years for $9.95 per year. You don't have to rejoin exactly on your join date, it can be weeks or months later if need be.

I don't mean to be a worry wart, but on this subject, what will we (MusicMom and ViolinDiva05) have to pay to re-register? We started last January 1st or 2nd, 2004. I am concerned I'll miss a window of opportunity.

After your membership expiration date is past, you'll be prompted to pay again the next time you login. Don't worry though, all of your account informaiton will be saved.

Hi Sandra

You actually can't renew until it's up (because of our billing setup). However, when people's accounts expire, we keep their settings and goals. So, if you come back on Jan 5th, you can renew at that point, and you'll get your program back exactly how it was before.

Thanks!

My membership expires on December 28th. I will be in Germany on vacation at that time and won't be able to re-new until I come back January 5th, unless I can re-new now, before I leave.
I don't want my membership to expire and loose all my settings and achievements. Can I re-new before I leave?
Sandra
