Well I am 56 and really enjoying this program. I want physically fit and this is helping to do that. Once you get it scheduled out, it is really great. I feel the muscle replacing the fat. Set a schedule and stick to it. The diet actually keeps you pretty full, so snacking seems to be held at bay. Just keep plugging along, and the more you do, the more you want to do.

Be brave and give them away - very positive step.

We had a taste of Spring these last few days, but this morning I awoke to snow, wind and cold. YUCK!

Hi everyone,

I live in Michigan, the weather is starting to give us a tease of spring - warm - hi 60's yesterday, today it is 28 degrees. I'm anxcious to get outdoors and take Dusty - our Lhasa Opso for a walk. She'll be 5 years old next month. Trying hard to eat the right things - yesterday was kind of bad - had a yummy brownie - loaded with sugar -being diabetic, that is definatley a no no... I guess I'll have to give them away...

I love this thread of over 50.
I will be 64 in May - wow, next year I can collect Old Age Security. YIKES!!! How time flies.

I'm way over 50 - turning 60 in May. I want to lose 45 pounds by August, and would sure love to hear from anyone in the group. I can't seem to stay motivated!

Hi Willows and Linda and to everyone else here. I heard about this site from Willows ~ Thanks Willows, I joined just a week ago but did not have time to post until now. There is so much here, I am still getting to know my way around here. What I have found so far is GREAT!!!! I needed to start a strength program and find the exercise section here to be so helpful. I love the little animated exercise examples!!!

Hi,

I would like to be a part of this 50 and over group.

I'm over 50 and have been retired for 4 years now. I love it.

My goal is to lose 60 pounds by October.
