| I love these suggestions. I would also like to see the meal planner/nutrition chart tell me if I am low on iron, or if I need more of something in my diet to create a better balance. So, I can meet my calorie and fat limit by eating just doritos, but is that exactly healthy....

| We are planning on letting people enter more preferences, like no dairy, no chicken, etc.

Do you think in the future Sparkpeople will have a program that allows you to enter foods you normally eat and then have it create "meals"? This would be really helpful for picky eaters like me :) --Leanne

Thank you! It didn't even occur to me to use the planner, add my foods to the meals I wanted and remove the planned meals!

You can also click the "Add Food in Database" button on the upper left of your Nutrition page to enter your own breakfast and lunches that you eat. If you do that, and click off our meal plan items that you do eat, you'll see a running totals of the calories you've eaten that day, to make sure you're meeting your goal.
Also, as Mike mentioned, we're exploring letting people add other foods for planning future days.

Hi Arielle!
thx for the suggestion. It's a possibility, though we're still looking at what it will involve to adapt the program to do this. We're always looking at ways to improve the site, so we always like ideas like this. Thanks! mk

| I would like to use some of the meals from the planner- but not all of them every day... I'd like to enter my own breakfast and lunch and maybe use a planner meal for dinner. Is it a possibility that we may see this function in the future?
