Weigh in today and I've lost 2 lbs! Just thrilled I must say.
Inspired me to walk 4 miles on the treadmill, do a 20 min bowflex upper body workout and about 20 mins of stretching. Hope the rest of the week goes well -- for everyone!

Welcome to Sparkpeople, think of that pound as a pound of butter off of your body...
That is a lot, when you look at a pound of butter.
Use your measuring tape, along with your scale. Drink that water. Aunt bee

My first weigh in and I've lost a pound. ONE POUND??? Geesh. I know, I know...everyone is different, muscle weighs more than fat, might take a couple+ weeks to kick in. Oh, but it is harder over 50 isn't it?!?!
I am SO glad I measured myself because I can also say I've lost 4.5 inches. 1.25 from hips alone and that is great!
Keep going everyone (me too!)
