| I guess different ones appeal to different people. I would like them a bit larger, because I think a number of them are difficult to make out -- and I don't wear glasses.

I vote that they should be smaller! and no offense, but some of them are just ugly. Like this one:
and the smiley ones aren't that cute either

I've found by judiciously placing the emoticons, one can prevent interference with text.
I do like them and use them upon occasion, but not always. Used wisely, they seem cheerful to me.
Of course, I respect those who prefer not to use them but don't think that should prevent those of who enjoy using them to do so.

I find the emoticons annoying mostly because they mess with the formatting of the paragraph. I think it's difficult to understand what people are saying when the lines are of all different heights because they're salt and peppered with smileys.
Why can't the emoticons be smaller so that they blend in with the text?

SPARK_COACH_JEN, I started a thread about emoticons before I saw how many there already were. I'm asking if we could add some more. Also, aren't they a bit too small or is it just me? (I don't wear glasses, but perhaps I should.)

| I would like to see some new emoticons added, would this be possible? Or maybe a way that we can add our own - like picture files or something. Just a thought, love it either way.
