Hello Everyone!
I'm announcing a new feature to SparkPeople - our very own web search page. You can click to this page from your SparkPoints page, or use this link:
SparkPeople Web Search
The SparkPeople web search page uses Google search, so you can be assured of getting world class good search results.
Here are several reasons to try this out:
1) If we get enough searches, we can start earning a revenue share from Google for this, so it's a great way for SparkPeople to help cover our expenses without cluttering up the site with ads. This is one thing that will let us offer the site to huge numbers of people for free as we keep needing to add servers, salaries, and other expenses.
2) This helps keep your goals even closer to you which makes it more likely you'll reach them - since there's a link to your SP account and a quote of the day to keep you motivated.
3) we'll donate some revenues from this to charity as an incentive. SparkPeople is a national supporter of the March of Dimes and they are one option we're working with.
4) As an extra incentive, you can earn 1 SparkPoint each day for doing a search!
If you want to help SparkPeople, making this page your default browser page would be a HUGE help!
