I was told by an old employer that when someone compliments you, you should just smile and say thank you.
Don't justify, don't explain anything...just take that praise onboard and feel good!

if you are including exercise i bet some of the weight difference has to do with toning your body. i would just say thanks i'm working on it and smile.

| Good question. I don't have a good answer. I would say whatever you are comfortable with. I would probably say, "Thank-you. I have lost some weight." and not give an exact number. I typically use the start weight when I'm looking for myself.

| When I first started this diet I weighed 130 then I gained weight at the begginning; 5 lbs. Then I lost six. When people say it looks like I lost weight should I say 1 lb from when I started or six lbs all together? confusing....
