| I also have psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis. I had knee replacement a year ago & rotator cuff (shoulder) surgery last November. After almost a year of physical therapy I joined a women's fitness center. Last year I was in a wheelchair some of the time. I am now exercising, swimming & walking. I've learned that even with the pain if I keep moving I feel much better.

I have psoriatic arthritis too as well as osteo arthritis. I have it in all my joints. I have been using my treadmill everyday and it helps some. I have had a knee replacment (3 yrs ago) so i need to keep those muscles going. I am in constant pain even tho I am on medication. Fun to get old, isn't it? I am 60 yrs old. Jackie

Hi, Sandy.
I have psoriatic arthritis, too. It affects the joints in my hands, feet, knees and ankles, so exercising is a problem. I walk a lot at work and with ibuprophen I've been able to keep up so far, but there are days that even that doesn't help. My rheumy says if it hurts don't do it, so I don't. Maybe we can support each other with the diet and with the exercise. Charlotte

Check on line, about you health problems, see what you may be able to do. If you don't move your body you will not be able to move at all.
The more you learn the better you can fight, for a more normal life.

| I have psoriatic arthritis ,some days it is all I can do to move. Some days are better ,but if it isn,t an everyday habit I don't think about it ,all I have on my mind is dealing with what I have to get done that I am behind on. I feel defeated before I can get started.
