Thanks for the sensible advice. After I had my supper I turned into a different person. I need to do my exercise after breakfast and not wait until the later part of the day when it is getting dark and I have not eaten.

Furnie,

If the number of calories you were eating before you started the program was quite a bit higher than your recommended calorie range, you'll want to decrease your calories slowly. That's going to be easier for you both physically and mentally. The point of this program is to help you make changes that you can live with for a lifetime- not to be starving and miserable all the time!

Making small changes and taking things one step at a time is the best way to do it!

This is my second day and I feel so hungry. I wanted to be successful so I made my goal to only lose 5 lbs. I'll just take it 5 pounds at a time. I'm so hungry today because I did not eat like I usually do yesterday so I woke up starving. When I'm hungry I'm irritable and unproductive. I hope my body will adjust to less food so that this will be more pleasant. Historically I have never lasted more than a couple days on a diet because I get so hungry and miserable.
