| Hey, thanks for all the encouragement. I have not been able to get to my computer this past week. My phone line is messed up. And I had a terrible week. I am glad the holidays are over although I can't really blame it on that. I am not giving up. With the Lord's help I know I can stick this out. I am eager to lost a few pounds before my daughter's wedding in May.

I am so proud of you, I lost that 100 pounds several times, let life, to get in the way of a life filled with, maintance, staying at goal weight. I guess I was punishing my self for my life not turning out as I had planed. I always have to control everything, well I hope to give God more credit and hope to talk to him in my prayers more often, not just when I am crying for help. I have very good feelings about the New year, last year was a good year, but I hope to play a part in making this New Year a much better one.

| I am DEFINITELY in the same boat! Back in 1998 I lost 90 pounds (took me 10 months) and I've kept it off via exercise, but doggone it my goal was 115 pounds off! With only 25 pounds to go I came to a screeching halt and never budged again until menopause hit and I am starting to inch back up. I've put on 15 pounds. Now I'm staring at 40 pounds to lose. My doctor said the secret to not gaining weight with menopause was exercise more and eat less. I wanted to slap him! I have had a terrible time figuring out just how many calories and what types of food are right for a woman in menopause. The only thing I can figure is that although I have been exercising faithfully all these years, I may not have been exercising in what they call the "burn zone". I am hoping I have just been exercising enough to keep the weight off but not lose it. So I've purchased a treadclimber and as soon as it arrives I'm chaining myself to that sucker! And I'm religiously tracking my foods on the AWESOME SparkPeople food journal.

| Is there anyone out there who has lost weight, but just seems to be stuck? I lost 38 pounds doing Weight Watchers. That was over a year ago. I have kept it off pretty good, but about ten pounds have krept back on. UGH! According to this plan I should be able to lose 30 pounds by May. I am not sure about this at my age (53). It took me 2 years to lost the 38 pounds with weight watchers. It seems to be harder the older I get. I am a regular exerciser (aerobics) and walking with a friend. I always drink water. Anyone else in the same boat?
