| SparkPeople's coaches and editors select recipes to become Editor's Choice. You'll receive an email if one of your recipes is made an Editor's Choice.

| How does it become editors choice??
| Yeah, it has to become editor's choice. If you look on your points page, it says that if you submit a recipe and have it become editor's choice, you get 10 points.

So are you saying that for submitting recipes, I don't receive any Spark Points at all? If my recipe becomes an Editor's Choice, do I receive any points then? I have submitted 8 recipes, some before SparkRecipes was a separate site and never received any points for any of them.

You'll get an email if your recipe becomes and Editor's Choice, and you'll also see Editor's Choice on the recipe.
The SparkPoints you see at the bottom of the recipe are the ones you can redeem for making any recipe, whether it be your own recipe or others.

| I was wondering the same thing, but I think it said you get 10 points if the recipe becomes "editors favorite" or something like that. Not sure how that happens or whatever. I know I submitted a recipe and at the bottom it says "spark points earned" but on my points page, I never received the points.
