Go for it, Stassy, it's a really really useful feature. The majority of things I eat are *not* in the SparkPeople database - partly because I am vegetarian and barely ever buy ready-made junk food which seems to make up nearly all of the Spark database, and partly because I'm in the UK and the vast majority of even very widespread and popular British brands aren't in the database *at all* - even things like THE cereal company which probably sells 60-70% of the market... but I've found that after using the tool to add in the things I eat regularly, I very seldom have to go and look up the data for a new food.

Cool I didn't know you could put food not listed. I will have to check it out! I was getting frustrated because I couldn't find a way to put in what I actually ate. Stassy

I hope that was helpful!
There are many other sites out there which list calories for things and serving sizes - if you can't find it accurately enough on Spark, go look it up somewhere else and add it as a 'food not listed' - this saves loads of time and fuss, especially when it's something you enjoy eating often.

| Sometimes it's something obvious... a clove of garlic, a pot of something. Kind of pretty much the same as a 'serving'. Otherwise it may be that it's not been added well - if in doubt, do the calorie research yourself for the amount of whatever-it-was that you ate, that's what I do.
