I would like to know how much is in a serving. Many foods don't give oz or measurements. I have entered some myself and usually type in how much the serving is for, ie Jones breakfast sausage-1 sausage.

Yes, unless notes foods are measured/calculated based on being uncooked.

My first question is this: when putting a recipe into the recipe calculator I sometimes don't know if the ingredient is considered cooked or not. For example, Kale: is the nutritional info for that cooked or just chopped raw kale? Is there a rule of thumb for that? Is it always raw unless specifically labeled as cooked? The reason I ask is that I calculated a recipe and it had considerably more calories than I expected.
My second question is similar, the same I guess. I'd like to know if 2 oz of spaghetti means cooked or uncooked. I'd appreciate any help! rebecca
