| What a coinkidink -- Hungry Girl had an article about salad bar stuff in their newsletter today. It's got some nutritional breakdowns in there for you: http://www.hungry-girl.com/week/weeklydetails.php?isid=1084

| Exactly! I don't get any of that other stuff. Just lots of dark green lettuce, peas, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, just a sprinkle of feta and sometimes just a little bit of bacon. I love the salad bar, but your right, you really have to be careful if your getting anything other than just salad.

| Stay away from pasta salad, potato salad. Eat only the veggies! That's what I love about WW - we know what the point values are for different foods - and there's no fuss about counting calories, etc. That's the only part I can't convert to with SP. A salad bar can be (and is for me) very low points!

| I guess you would have to estimate the amount of each item that you chose and if it were something like potatoe salad, or pasta salad find something similar in the food search. Personally, if I can't figure it out in just a few minutes I won't choose that type of thing. Salad bars have so many hidden calories because you can't weigh or measure what you choose and I think it would be fair to say that we don't "guesstimate" very well...so I would buy your favorite salad items and a dressing with the label and cheese or deli meats with the information and do it that way...or throw a few shrimp on top for a low fat tasty addition...lots of lemon juice too!!! Just a few of my ideas...

I was wondering, if I were to go to a salad bar at my local grocery store how would I figure out how to put the nutritional information in on the salad I bought.
Thanks!
