We only delete recipes if: 1) They are copyrighted from another source, like if someone takes a recipe from another recipe book 2) There is obscene or offensive language 3) The recipe is obviously incomplete, such as having no ingredients listed
We do not delete recipes if they are not healthy, that's why we allow members to rate recipes based on their health and taste.
We will make some recipes an "Editor's Choice" if we feel they are very healthy and unique. If one of you recipes is made an Editor's Choice you will receive an email and will get 10 SparkPoints.

| I read on the lead-in page to sparkrecipes that a recipe can be disapproved, in which case other SP users cannot access it. I was just wondering, what is the criteria for disapproving a recipe? If a recipe is disapproved, does the submitter get a notification? If one of my recipes was disapproved, I'd like to know why (in case I'm overlooking some glaring nutritional deficiency in the recipe). Thanks!--Jamie.
