We're not sure, since that recipe was added by a SparkPeople member. You could leave a comment on the recipe asking that. If I had to guess, I'd say include the liquid from the canned veggies, and add water later if you feel the soup is too thick.

I am planning on making the cabbage Vegetable Soup tomorrow, and, I was just wondering do I need to add water or anything and when adding the canned veggies, should I drain them or use the liquids as part of the soup.
