Thanks Sasha for sharing-I will look for that product at the store. Tonight I had strawberries w/lite coolwhip--would have been much better with the shortcake.

I discovered this "healthier" version of shortcake a couple of years back. My grocery store sells a sugar-free poundcake that I like to use instead of angel food cake. I think the calorie count is a little lower, but a bit higher in fat content. And I use the fat free cool whip.
This is a great way to get the taste of a decadent dessert without the guilt.
Thanks for posting this dessert & sharing :)!

Weight Watcher treat...... Take 1 whole sheet of a chocolate graham cracker and snap it half. Add a big dollop of fat free cool whip to one half, top with the other half. Put in your freezer for a few hours. It tastes like an ice cream sandwich. YUMMMMMMMMM

Thank you MALLYBUD, I have a real sweet tooth too and after a good meal something sweet always hits the spot. Your low fat dessert sounds wonderful. I will definitely have to give it a try!

HI everyone, thought I'd add a yummy desert. I really like sweets at times, so tonight I had a nice, light, low fat desert:
1 small slice of Angel food cake 5 strawberries 1-2 tablespoons of ultra low fat cool whip
It really hit the spot after a good meal!
