Sorry if you didn't notice my last post. You can email your screenshots to me at dave@sparkpeople.com.
I'm sorry you have a recipe missing. Could you try to replicate this? My guess it that you may not have fully saved the recipe.

Is there an expert I can report this to?
You are half answering my questions.
I KNOW I saved a recipe, but I STILL have a recipe missing.
I deleted the one that was supposed to be mine, as you're obviously no help with that. It's a recipe that I wouldn't make, let alone post.

Correct, you can add any recipes to Favorites, including from other users. You clicked "Save" on that recipe while viewing it.
Please email a screenshot to me at dave@sparkpeople.com.
Thanks!

Nope, recipe in favorites is someone else's.
Foreign recipe still there.
Missing recipe still missing
Ratings still incorrect.
I use Firefox, but checked these on IE also, wrong on both.
Is there a place to submit a bug? Screen shots?
I'm a QA Analyst, so I know how to document errors. This has been persisting for over 24hrs. You have a bug, a data related bug.

Hi Cindy
It looks like it's in your Favorites, not your submitted recipes. Also, your ratings appear the same to me on your Recipe Box as the recipe pages.

Still there: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=55553
This is a link to the recipe. The recipe that is supposed to be displayed is one for taco salad. I believe it's labeled Low carb Taco Salad, but I'm not sure.
The others are there, but say the ratings are higher than the numbers displayed on the idividual recipe.
Is there a place to report bugs?

Yes, we plan to expand dietary needs to include Low Carb, Low Fat, and Sugar Free.
Also, I'm not sure why that might have happened with your Recipe Box. Could you check that again?

I just went to my recipe box and there is a recipe there that is not mine. And one of mine is missing.
What do I do?

| Hey Dave, thanks for the info, perhaps it will make it easier for people to understand if the techie staff could change the wording now on the Spark Points Page - Just put "Editors Choice Recipe" - 10 points.

You won't earn points just for submitting recipes, they need to be designated "Editor's Choice" to receive points. Thanks!

To those who love new and different recipes: I just submitted my first recipe, under Poultry. It's called "hen on the nest" and even I had a hard time finding it. I'm afraid no one will ever get to it if they're sorting alphabetically. There are so many C's for chicken that you have to page a lot to get to the H's. So if no one tries it, it'll never get rated. Please search my recipe and try it because I think you'll like it!

Previously (before SparkRecipes and member ratings) we checked recipes to make sure they were unique, healthy, and well written. With Ratings, we'll more be checking recipes with high ratings and then bestowing "Editor's Choice" on recipes that are healthy and unique (not a duplicate of other recipes). Hope this helps!

What criteria is used to make a recipe "Editor's Choice"??
I submitted 2 recipes when I first joined, both low carb recipes and neither were approved. OK....I can live with that, but neither is displayed when I do a search on the recipe name or part of the name? In my recipe box, both are listed as "Shared".

Here's the deal....if a recipe is made an "Editor's Choice" you will receive SparkPoints. Once we start getting more ratings, we'll start checking out well reviewed recipes and making them Editor's Choice. If you submitted a recipe and we make it Editor's Choice, you'll receive an email telling you this and that you earned your points.
Thanks!

If I recall correctly what Coach Jen said, is that any recipe which is shared will be put up on the Recipe site. Then depending on how it is rated, it will either be at the top of a page or much much lower down.
So, in other words, recipes won't necessarily be "approved" anymore by Sparkpeople, but will be rated by actual people who try it.
As to recipes which have already been shared previously, I'm not sure how the points will be rewarded for them. If I'm not understanding this correctly, please feel free to correct me.

| Likewise. My recipe seems to come up in the shared recipe list but I have '0 recipes approved' on my SparkPoints page...

I submitted a recipe prior to the switchover to SparkRecipes, and have been waiting to see whether it was approved. Since it now appears to be shared on the new site, I'm assuming it was... yet I didn't seem to get any SparkPoints.
Will the point system still work the same for getting recipes approved with SparkRecipes?
