As for New Years Resolutions, nope I didn't make any. I just thought this year was going to a joyful one with our first baby and all that comes with it, I didn't really worry about much else. And although there has been pain, there was joy too, and there will be more joy to come.
I started walking my dogs with my hubby as soon as the snow was gone, but I stepped up my workouts to walk in the mornings with just me and the dogs. And then we take them to the park to play ball and stuff at night. Plus we are just spending more time outside just being together which is nice.

Even though you may not see the change in weight you are able to see changes in being able to do real pushups...

Well, my resolutions are basically always the same every year, so what does that say for me... but I keep trying so that is good.
I have been working out the past two weeks with a friend. She has a personal trainer once a week, and her trainer told her that if she wanted she could bring a couple of friends to the sessions, and so now I have a free personal trainer once a week. I have been doing alot of strength training and intervals on the treadmill. I am also working up to running a 5k. I have worked my way up from not being able to do a real pushup and only able to do 5 modified pushups to being able to do 5 real pushups! I am feeling great even though the scale isn't moving much (not yet, but I am sure it will) and I know that my body is changing even though the weight isn't. And it has only been 2 weeks!

My resolution was 30 minutes of activity a day...no matter what...and I made that when I was pregnant. I've been doing a lot outside...over the weekend I planted my garden and then I tore down some trees and cut down almost all my bushes...5 in all I think. I'm planning on going and weeding my roses...they're almost lost in my garden with all the weeds. I'm prolly doing too much, (since I just gave birth 4 weeks ago) but it helps to stay busy.

Chasing around your son counts as exercise :) That is cardio!
Let us know how you do with the bike...
I have been exercising either on the treadmill or elliptical or both at least 60 min each day...i love the feeling of feeling lighter...
Also now that it is wedding season, I have been busy meeting more and more clients and going everywhere so that keeps me on my toes as well.

I don't think I made a NYR either! LOL
Mmmm, as for being active everyday, well I try but it doesn't always happen. I try to go for a jog whenever possible, but sometimes I can only just run around after my son. Which sometimes is the perfect exercise.
I do want to start riding my bike more often, so I guess that will be my 1/2 year resolution.

I can't believe its already June! :) I hit a huge slump but I"m trying to get back.
I didn't really make any resolutions so I haven't failed. haha
I've been walking a lot, riding my bike and doing squats. I really need to do some jillian/biggest loser dvds with weights though.

Hello team!
Can you believe it is already June? Summer is just around the corner...so for this month's challenge...
1. Reflect back to when you made your New Year's resolution...have you kept your resolution?
2. Please post what you are doing every day to stay active...it can be anything! Now that it is getting warmer...tell us what you are doing outdoors as well as indoors to stay in shape...this also does include grocery shopping :)
