Thanks - it was awesome today. 60 degrees which meant short sleeves and shorts. :) That's a heat wave this time of year in MA. haha Tomorrow its going to rain all day.

Today I walked for an 90 minutes again. Not fast but it was walking, I had the kids walking too. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Hey,
I went to my primary for the UTI. I left my old OB's office. I could tell I had one because I had lower back pain, felt sick, and it burned when I went to the bathroom. But the first time I had one I didn't have any symptoms at all. This is the 4th one I've had since my surgery in September. NEVER had one before then. Its finally gone but they say once they start you get them more often. ILK.

But yesterday I did 60 minutes on the bike and today I did a 90 minute walk!! :) Its finally get nice outside.

I actually did a follow up today and things are good. :) YEAH!! I did 50 minutes yesterday and today on the bike. Tomorrow I need to do jillain though, haven't lifted weights in over a week.

Sorry to hear your UTI medication did not work. I know what you mean by doctors...i hate them too!

Keep up the good work on your workouts...i am going to try to workout while watching the biggest loser tonight...i am in madison pretty much all day until then.

So the meds I took for the UTI didn't work, its back. On top of that they found Strep in the cultures. SO tomorrow I have to go back to the doctors and get a swab with another urine test. I'm so tired of doctors. SIGH..

But I did do 50 minutes on my bike tonight. I just started the gardening and I'm finding I like it. :) Although it was 30 today, not much we can do with the cold.

Glad you are feeling better. :) I do have a UTI and the meds have made me sick. So I did 30 minutes on the bike last night and am going to take today off. I have to work all weekend but I'm hoping to get in a few walks each day.

I am doing better but I am taking antibiotics for a recurring vaginosis so I do not feel so great as well...so I know how you are feeling.

Wow awesome!!

Tuesday I did 60 minutes on my bike, yesterday I was so wiped I didn't do anything. I think I have a UTI so I feel gross. But I'm going to the bike again today hopefully for 60 minutes.

Hi Jess...glad you are better...

I have not worked out since Sunday because I have been sick with the flu...i do not know how I got up at 6am to drive down to Schaumburg ( 1 1/2 hour drive) to get to a seminar, but I definitely was paying for it Monday...slept all day...hopefully I will be better by Wednesday because I have to cover my husband at the store and then the rest of the week is packed with appts with my client who is from California! I need a magic pill to get me better.

Thanks! :) I didn't work out until Saturday, I got the gastro bug Thursday night. UH It was so nasty. I lost 5lbs in one night. Not the way I like to lose weight that's for sure.

So today I'm finally back to eating normally. Its been such nice weather the last few days we all went for a walk yesterday and today. About 2 miles each day. So I'm trying. :)

Hello ladies,

Hope everyone is having a healthy week! Sorry I have not posted in a while here...but I have been keeping up with my exercises...it was a slow start to the week because of client meetings and then expecting my period...so the first 3 days I worked out for 30 min...and then yesterday i walked on the treadmill for 2 hours and today for 2 hours...did not feel like going on my elliptical (still have not gotten my period but I know it will be soon), but thankfully I have a treadmill.

Great job mscthrpy! At least you did some exercise even though you did not feel great...that is all that matters...I got in 112 min...72 on treadmill (that is 3 miles) and 40 on the elliptical.

I worked out for only 30 min on the elliptical yesterday...had to meet a client in Madison which is an hour and a half away...

Today I worked out for 112 min...72 min on the treadmill and 40 on the elliptical...I am excited to see the biggest loser today...i may end up walking during the show also...

I ran for 12 minutes, walked for 20 minutes and spent 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer today. This is the first day I have felt good since I lost my twins two weeks ago. I may even do my hair and put on a little make up today!

I worked out today for 112 min...40 on elliptical and 72 on treadmill...

Well it is Valentine's day! :) Walking still counts. The dvd's you can get at walmart for $8-$9. If you don't want to spend the money get them from your local library. That's what I do. I borrow them, work out and then switch it up with another. Then I just keep requesting them. :) I'll try to look up all the dvd's and send you a list. :)

Sounds like you had a great workout...I did not get a chance to workout today because i was at my in-laws store all day although I did a lot of walking...i also have to head out now to spend Valentine's Day/Anniversary with hubby, but I am going to makeup today by doing extra tomorrow and the rest of the week...

I would like to try the biggest loser dvds...do you know where i could get them for cheap?

Thanks! 30 day shred is a program which says you can lose 20lbs in 30 days. I don't believe it plus that's just not healthy. But its cardio, strength, abs, 1 minute each I think and then you do it for 30 minutes. Its hard, I sweat like a maniac. I always feel really good after though.

I do that twice a week, I do Bob's yoga once a week and the bike the rest.

My yoga class today was awesome, I hadn't been in so long. It stretches everything out and relaxes the body. There are several different forms of yoga, the class I take is Svaropa (spelling?) its more relaxation and opening everything up. :) Bob's yoga is hard core, lose some inches yoga.

I love the biggest loser dvd's because they are really motivational. I don't have much room in my living room anymore but Jillian's and Bob's you don't need much room. You pretty much stay in one spot. :)

Great job on the elliptical and treadmill. We'll be hot tamales for spring. :)

Hope you get better soon! What is the 30 day shred like? Never heard of it until I heard it from you...what do you have to do?

I do not like doing the dvds because I do not have much room to do those...i have some dance ones which are cool...

I worked out this morning for 90 min...30 on elliptical and 60 on treadmill...i think i will have to change it up soon so I do not get bored either...

Yoga should be fun...never tried it myself though...

Thanks. I've got a cold, no biggy though. Today I did 30 minutes aerobic with Jillian Michaels - 30 day shred. She's brutal and the workout is intense.

Tomorrow I'm going to a 90 minute yoga class.

I need to keep it different, that way I don't get bored. I can't wait for spring so I can walk.

Why not try doing a 30 minute dvd and then one of the machines?

Sounds like you are doing a lot of different things to work out...I probably should start doing other things also...

Ok Tuesday I did Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, 30 minutes of cardio, weight lifting and abs. Yesterday I did 35 minutes on the bike. Today I did weight loss yoga with Bob Harper 30 minutes. Biggest Loser dvd's are awesome! I'm getting sick that's why I did yoga today. I can't bounce around with this headache! :)

That is great so at least on those days you are not working out, you really are getting exercise.

I register patients for the emergency room. At a local hospital and I do work at a desk. But I'm up and about most of the night. I don't stop moving usually!: )

I watch the tube, read a book or both. :) Time just flies. Thursday I watched the celtics with my husband - he lifts while I ride. We watched the Office and CSI too. We flick! :)

I'd like to walk but I live in MA, we've got a boat load of snow and freezing temps. I don't have a tread mill either.

I ride my stationary bike for 50 minutes 3 days a week, can that count? I'll be walking again when the weather gets warmer but right now its way too cold.

I already did 90 minutes...I guess I can say I am mildly addicted to working out. A week ago I wasn't sleeping because of the miscarriage on January 13th, but now I am back to myself and I feel great. I definitely feel like I am losing, but I am only letting myself weigh in 2 times a month (the 1st and the 15th), so I will weigh in and measure tomorrow. This site and my husband have been really supportive!

Hello ladies of the Mommies of Angel Babies team!

So I know a lot of us are struggling with keeping our mind off of our angel babies so in order to help with that I thought we can use a challenge! We will start a little easy to help us reach our goals of losing weight so here it is...

Our first challenge for the month of February will be to walk for an hour every day!

It does not matter how you do it...whether it be on the treadmill or outside, but it has to be something you are focused on...yes I know we all walk more than that but walking to the kitchen or anywhere else in your home does not count...it has to be exercise...

So after you have walked for an hour, please post on here what you did.

Please also post if you did not do it because we want to be there to motivate you and cheer you on!

So let's get our exercise on ladies!!!
