My exercise today consisted of working in my community garden plot. A few of the regular gardeners were scattered about working in the garden plots. It is a friendly atmosphere. We have a couple picnic benches, so we took a break with our thermos mugs of coffee and gabbed for awhile around noon, since we hadn't seen each other since last fall.

The picture below was taken in 2010.

I will be walking a lot more, now the weather is starting to co-operate! Did 30 minutes this morning with a set of tension bands and a yoga mat.

The usual fifteen minute walk in the park today, followed by a fifteen minute swim. When I got home I did a lot of physical work around the house and garden too, so I'm counting that.

Just a 15 minute walk in the park so far today. However, I am just about to put my Strictly Fit DVD on and see how I get on with that. It's been over a year since I used it so I can't even remember any of the routines. Still, moving is moving.

Same today as yesterday - brisk 15 minute walk in the park, and then 15 minutes in the pool. Tomorrow I plan to walk again but won't swim, as the pool will be busy on Saturday. Therefore, I'm planning to do at least 15 minutes of my Strictly Fit DVD.

Today I finally got back to exercising after two weeks of sickness. I walked in the park for fifteen minutes but didn't do the exercise machines. Then I went to the pool and swam ten lengths. So, about half an hour in total, which I'm happy with, for my first day.

Initially, I had planned on doing some of my Strictly Fit DVD this afternoon, but have decided against it. I want to monitor how the swimming is working for me first. Tomorrow, if I am not too sore, I will add the DVD. If I'm aching, I'll just do the same for a few days, to build up my strength. After all, this exercise thing is not a race!

I've been sick for a couple of weeks so haven't been exercising. However, I usually do walking and exercise machines in the park. Recently started aquafit, and now hoping to swim at least a few times a week at the pool. I also have 'Strictly Fit,' which is the Strictly Come Dancing fitness DVD. I haven't used it for about a year but plan to start this afternoon, if only for five minutes.

i belong to a local Community Recreation Centre. I go to an aqua size class on Friday mornings. 3/4 of an hour then I do pool laps, for 10 minutes, before the next class starts.

I walk 2 miles a day 3 days a week depending on the weather, other wise I use my treadmill but I find it boring.

I also use tension resistant bands for a toning workout - 10 minutes twice a week.

I was on a walk and did some strenght training today. I chose ZWOD #2 - I absolutely love Manmakers with weights and Twisted push-ups.
And walk of course! I aim to have 2 walks for at least 30 mins each. Seems to be working fine so far.

I'm not loosing weight. I'M GETTING RID OF IT. I have no intention of finding it again!

Lady_D - your quotes are great!

Today I went for a 4.1 km walk and it took me just under 50 minutes, which I am very happy with. It was roasting outside so I think that probably meant I burned more from sheer heat exhaustion :P

I did 10 mins warm up on bike, stretches, 40 mins on treadmill and 20 mins swimming then a relaxing 15 mins in the jacuzzi :)

Today was a perfect day for outdoor work. After gardening for about an hour I took off on a 2 mile jaunt. My heart rate monitor says it was work but it felt like pure joy in the sunshine.

I've got great intentions but no motivation. Every morning this week there's been a new box of chocs in the kitchen, so I've been scoffing chocs for breakfast. Ridiculous.... There were gorgeous Lily O'Brien ones there this morning. I ate at least 8 of them, feel sick now.

I have a pedometer somewhere at home. Must dig it up and dust it down! I've got a mini-stepper thingie at home too, stuffed under a bed. And a treadmill that's stuck at an incline of 10%, almost like Mt.Everest.... And don't even start me on the the 10-pack of fitness dvds I bought 2 weeks ago (still unopened) and the ab roller that's dismantled and under the same bed as the mini-stepper)....

I have been at SP for 5 weeks now. I plan on changing my schedule this week. I have been a bit lax, walking, doing a little elliptical and scattered strength training. I'm switching to M,W,F strentgh and I am going to do the biggest winner workouts for cardio on the alternate days. On the weekends, play time with my puppy. Scott

Well, no exercise for me today, or for a few days... i am sick as a dog and on orders to stick close to bed.

.. this is wha I get for dancing for about 2 hours total on both nights this weekend with some walking on top of that, when I already felt not so shiny on friday *facepalm*

Well, it is still early for me, but UI have to go *glamgleamfgleam* about the fact that yesterday, in addittion to walking for a total of 45 minutes to go from one place to another, I also played indoor soccer for the first time in... 6 years at the very least 0_0 (got outr ass kicked 10-9 but we will do better next week!)

TOday i foresee alking for 15 minutes, and that is about it - so sore today, don;t fancy anything very active.

hi there just came on and thought i would see what everyone is up to. well i did 2 hours of hard house work as i just had visitors so stripped all beds and cleaned like a mad woman so i didn't get round to doing my half hour on bike but i was moving. what about everybody else.

oh yeah, we do have a pedometer, the kdis have been using it and I have not yet. oh yeah,... gettin gready to go... we have been doing all the chores and loads of walking, I tell ya!!
