How'd everyone do with this challenge? I didn't lose any weight but I didn't gain either.

We are almost to Christmas emoticon , and December is half over! Time is just flying by. How's everyone doing with Beat the Holiday Bulge challenge? Do you have a game plan for avoiding all those Christmas goodies? emoticon Share your ideas/strategies with others and post it in the Beat the Holiday Bulge forum. Just checking in with everyone with Thanksgiving around the corner (for those who celebrate it) there will be a lot of good food to eat! Let's remember to make smart choices and only indulge just a little in that pumpkin pie, apple pie, chocolate pie or whatever your poison may be.

We can adapt this challenge to what ever way we want.

I will explain how it works at my work, October 11th I weighed in and reported my weight, on January 1 I will have to weigh in again and report my weight. If I haven't gained any weight then I win the challenge. If I've lost weight then that's only bonus for me. The main focus of this challenge is to not gain weight over these major holidays.

If everyone wants to have a weekly weigh in that's fine by me. Like I said we can adapt this challenge to make it any way we want.

OK, went to the doctor and my weight is up a bit from my tracker. I guess I am going to have to change it, drat. My weight is 169. Do we have a check in? Sorry, I read the intro yesterday. I'll go back to read again.
I need to be held accountable so I like this challenge.

I will join the challenge too....but hope it's ok if I wait until Wed...that is my normal weigh in day. And...we can't gain any? No bad week but overall we lose? Wow...tough challenge...but gonna try.

This is a health challenge that my work does each year and I thought we could do it as well. The rules are simple...Weigh yourself today and record it here. This challenge lasts October through January, and the goal is to not gain any weight over the major holidays. Of course loosing the weight is our true goal, but to win this challenge you simply do not gain any weight. So enjoy the holidays but do it in a healthy smart way!!
