Thanks Becky....I was not allowing myself any fruit at under 40g of carbs; so doing the 60g would allow me some strawberries (2 carbs an ounce)....that sounds good. Also made some sugar free jello.

Hate starting off (again) on the right path and not feeling well. Having stomach issues all day and now feelin nauseous ;o(

Yes, I can have 3 to 4 oz of meat and 3 to 4 oz of fruit/veg. as long as my carbs stay below 60 grams.

let me know how you do staying below 60 grams of carbs.

Thanks for the diet guidelines.....just want to understand correctly. That 3-4 oz of meat and veggies or fruit is per meal, correct?

I was trying to stay under 40g of carbs and it was too difficult. 60 might be doable.

hi Linda,
Glad to have you on board. Do what ever you can. the point is to get moving. My doctor suggested that I do the 200 minutes last Friday when I went ot weigh in. If you do any gardenting, she told me that I could count half of my time spent gardenting. But I usually like to get out and walk in the early morinings.

My diet is 4 oz of meat and 3 to 4 oz of vegatables or fruit. I can have up to 60 grams of carbs a day. Hope this helps.

I like to start on Mondays and since Monday is the 28th, I figured that I would make that the official starting date. I did enclude Friday and Sunday just for my infomation and an example of one way that you can keep up with your minutes.

Hi "L" and Rose! Thanks for the invite. I've been lost and frustrated for awhile and perhaps this challenge will help get me back on track. Between gaining due to meds and adding to the gain because of going back to old habits, I've gained about 40 lbs from my lowest weight. Not sure I can keep up with 200 minutes, but I will do the best I can with the limitations I have.

Soooooooo the 28th!!!!!

Can I ask what you all are following as far as an eating plan.

Saw my Bariatric doctor today.She is wanting me to do 200 mintues per week. I am going to start this challenge on 5/28/2012. Please feel free to join me on getting my exercise in per week.
