I have microscopic colitis and celiac so follow a gf diet for both conditions. I am under a gf specialist and also a nutrionalist and I am currently taking an adrenal support complex, zinc, fish oil, coqu10 supplement as well as being advised to eat only cooked food, even if its only lightly steamed I and at the same time was advised to cut out dairy and coffee. I have been following this for 2 months now and it has settled my bowel down well, so I am now starting to eat a bit of raw food. I have also cut out most sugar. My weight is not doing great things but believe that when the healing is done and my body is running more normal the weight will come off. My mantra is that I am eating for my health. But still want to lose weight as well. So understand what you are saying.

My Crohn's is under control with medication. The only problem is that I can't tolerate a lot of fruits and vegetables, which is impeding my weight loss. I love salad, but it absolutely kills me. Does anyone else have this problem?
