My biggest challenge is saying no to the things that I want to do, but know I'm not physically able to do. My energy level is ZERO. I'm 23 and I just want to live a 'normal' active life, but this is something that is just not always possible. emoticon

My biggest challenge with the disease came with the anemia. Every flare-up, which was quite often, I would spend most of the daylight hours in the bed. when I was up, I barely had the energy to cross the school campus to class. I had maybe 6 productive hours on a good day, most of which was spent sitting, or lying down.
