I couldn't handle the Carbo/Levo for some reason, but I am going to ask about the Mysoline. Sometimes I feel like my legs and arms are trying to jerk me to the ceiling and hogtie me there. Not fun.

Not really. I am down to 1 diet coke a day. The restless leg was a symptom of the Essential Tremor & has now gone away.

Patti do you drink artificially sweetened drinks? Diet pop, diet bottled ice tea, Crystal Light, Cool Aide? This is my bug-a-boo! My RLS and charlie horses went away completely when I gave up all artificially sweetened drinks.

Recently I was diagnosed with Essential Tremor which is similar to Parkinson's. My doctor has prescribed Mysoline which not only helps calm by body down but I noticed I have been sleeping better ever since I started it. It has enabled me to cut down on some of my sleep meds which were not really effective anyway. I no longer have the restless leg syndrome, so for those who suffer from it, you might want to talk to your doctors about it
