I think it's great that you're setting an early precedent of exercise and strength training in your household.

There is nothing wrong with having a work out buddy. :)

I'm telling you--they *do* make a difference. (Semi-embarrassing story--my 4 yr old now knows what they are, and often when I am doing them, he does them too. I do them to the 2nd step of from the bottom of the stairs, and he does his to the 1st step. He's my biggest exercising cheerleader.) :-)

Keep it up! I've never belonged to a gym, so I've just been trying out different things at home. Maybe a step will be my next investment.

Too bad you can't write off expenses for hobbies.

I take 1 hour step class at least 2 times a week. Tomorrow I'm going to butt blaster- it's 45 minutes of step in intervals with 45 minutes of weight lifting using the step. No wonder I'm such an awesome skier emoticon

I dare you to try these and see how it goes.

Step to the first tread on your stairs for beginner, and the 2nd for advanced. Man, do I LOVE exercises I can do right at home while racing around.
