I am currently doing TOPS. It is an inexpensive alternative to WW and I do think the weekly weigh in helps. It has been slow going, but I have been losing weight over the three years since I joined TOPS. Of course the tools at SP are invaluable to me in this endeavour.

Now, I really like SparkPeople Radio. I enjoy the energetic show and the success stories.

Tried going sweets free and only got to four days. Not ready yet. But I can avoid fried foods.....well I kept forgetting now it is just chips. And I had to reset earlier this Spring...forgot the date, so just set it for April 1, not a joke...onward and upward.

I have, over the course of at least 5 years, found Spark to be easy, and very cheap! The cheap part is a good thing! I did TOPS, I did Weight Watchers and WW got me started and I did well, but $40 a month was just too much to spend. I like be able to track and see where I am with my food. I LOVE the friendly people in the groups. I just love Spark People!

Now, that I've been tracking food an fitness a while, I've found I need to tweak things, like how I eat away from home. Guess what? SparkPeople has a bunch of articles about how to do that:

ition_articles_list.asp?iSel=31

I've read just about all of them, and will be incorporating these ideas on vacations, parties, and restaurants.

Right now, my favorite feature is the collection of articles.

I like the features that allow us to talk to each other. It's very helpful to hear how others are doing. It's helpful to be encouraged by others and also to encourage others.

This is another thread for chit chat with your fellow SparkPeople class.

Describe what SparkPeople.com feature you have found most helpful or for another reason is you favorite. Maybe that changes from time to time.

Lately, I'm digging the Workout Generator. It keeps my workouts interesting.
