WOW!! In Good Taste has all sorts of classes! A little on the spendy side, but I'm worth it!
It took me a while to get used to sushi, I'm from the east coast, where fish should be fried or in creamy soup. Now, I LOVE it.
favourite sushi spots are Syun in Hillsboro or Sinju at Bridgeport (for sushi and sake to impress someone) Sushi Hana behind Washington Square (great Happy Hour) I love sushi and Mio Sushi... and just about anyplace else.
So... I'm not the only one crazy about sushi...???
I can't help you here.
Have you ever visited Sushi Land near DMV and Kols at Clackamas towne Center? OMG you sit at a booth and there si a round turn table forever moving. It has clear plastic lids covering the dishes of hundreds of types of sushi. I'm learning to like new types of sushi. My daughter introduced me to this place. She goes often. My overall favorite is Inari. But i am learnin to like more varieties. It's very reasonably priced at jsut $1 & $2 etc and more elaborate is maybe $3
Hey all! I'm wondering if anyone knows of a pace in the Portland or Salem or in between (I live in Caanby) areas that do sushi making classes? My next reward is a cooking class, and I've got sushi on the brain! Thanks y'all. Spark On!!
