No, but I am really interested in rowing and I know there are a few clubs around here. I might seriously investigate next spring.

I'm stuck in the house with a 2y/o all day...does that count as a "winter sport?"

I don't participate in any sports, winter or otherwise. I'm just not coordinated or competitive when it comes to sports. I just keep thinking how awkward and annoyed I feel the whole time.
While I may be more active now, I'll never be an athlete!
MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT 5 lbs = 5 lbs
5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!
If nothing tasted as good as being thin felt, no one would ever get fat!
FOOD TASTES GOOD
Let us eat it in moderation.
We get a lot of snow here, so I like to snowshoe, cross country ski, and I have a GREAT sled called a Mad River Rocket - it's essentially a knee board for snow. It's a TON of fun. I crash a lot though, so I can only go a couple times a week because I'm so sore afterward, lol! This year I'm hoping to take snowboarding lessons. My hubby used to ski a lot, I tried skis, but could never get the hang of it, I spent more time on the ground untangling my feet which made it NO fun! I tried 'boarding several years ago, and thought I'd like it, but didn't have the time to practice much. Now that we live in an area that has lots of snow, I don't have to drive too far to get to a good hill to practice, and in all reality, I have a good hill w/in walking distance. I have to say Winter is probably my favorite season.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
My dragon boat practices and power strength training are all year long. Even in the rain we ahve to deal with scooping water out of the bottom of the boats. Winter is best time for me actually because hot summer days draws speed boats that are really dangerous to kayakers and rowers and draon boaters. I have an Arthritist striken body but I refuse to give up. I cover my head with knit caps and gloves and wet suit pants and my wind breaker and I'm ready to go.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!
