My immediate goal this fall is to reach 50lbs lost by Oct. 27. My grandson comes home on leave from Iraq then and my initial goal when joining SP was to loose 50lbs while he was there (reutrning next May). I'm nearly there now thanks to SP! So I'm increasing my fitness and cutting back on my calories and carbs.
After that, my goal is an additional 25lbs gone by March.

To get out more and hike as much as possible. So far this month has been working well. Yesterday a six mile loop, the Patjens Lk. loop in Mt. Washington wilderness saw a little snowfall. Today eleven miles on Mary's Peak, Northridge trail and the tie trail beautiful missed most of the rain and had sunshine on the top for lunch.

My goal for this fall (and longer) is to lose 30# by April... but I'm starting now on through fall - hopefully about 10# by New Years.. That goal will get me through the Holidays. I too need to do some strength training... I walk but I know that doesn't cover all the bases by any means. I have some stretch bands here that I can (and will) use.

Mine is to conquer this pain from the accident and Fibro Flare so I can do more exercises and on Wed. hopefully the VA has a Nutritionist appointment set up for DH. That should help both of us with our foods.
