The nutrition tracker. If I don't do anything else I always track my food, even on a bad day. Now I really pay attention to the break down of what I eat (carb, fat, protein, fiber, nutrients)

I like reading about the accomplishments of all of you, it helps me to know that I can do this too. And everyone seems friendly and helpful as well.
It's good to have common ground with people.

Yes, the discipline of recording every day and knowing that others are doing the same thing certainly is keeping me going.

The teams and the people I've met and the friends I've made here. THEY keep me coming back...the tracker is helpful...but I can do that myself...I can't be my friend.

It's foolish to ask God to direct your steps, if you aren't willing to move your feet.
I love the Teams and all the friends I've made!

No question. The people.
They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.
It used to be the nutrition and fitness trackers, but I am not as dependent on them...I do pretty well without them, although I always track just in case. My most important thing, now, is the PEOPLE of SparkPeople.

The nutrition tracker... definitely very helpful in keeping my eating reasonable on a day-to-day basis!

the trackers and articles. I have learned SO much from tracking what I do. It forces me to be honest with myself. And the articles (and now blogs) are so interesting and informative!
MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT 5 lbs = 5 lbs
5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!
If nothing tasted as good as being thin felt, no one would ever get fat!

All my wonderful friends that support me through the ups and downs.......
The teams and my BLOG! =)
I write about different things on this blog than I do on other blogs that I use. The other blogs are usually about my business and things related. I feel more open to let feelings out here...
I have to say the Teams. The Trackers have not been accurate for me. The teams ahve helped me learn about my diabetes. I have to post my morning blood sugar readings. It helps me to learn what foods is best for my body. Without these teams I would probably be dead by now.

The teams have been such a big help to me that I put them in first place. The tracker got me here and the teams have kept me here.
The people! If it weren't for all the great people I have met, I would have quit months ago!

It's a toss up between the nutritional tracker and the fitness tracker.
Hope is here-Perfection isn't
Yeah, at the beginning it was definitely the nutrition tracker, then it became the teams. At first only the team for my week because they were all going through the same kinds of things, then other teams as well.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!
