BKP4166 The Omron works great! I love it. Got it at Joe's. WalMart says that they carry it, but was never able to find one in the stores.

I have one but haven't used it...mostly track time. I'd like to get an Omron...it's recommended by several folks on the site.

I got one for Christmas and wore it a few times. Apparently I walk approximately 2,500-3000 steps a day...ugh! So I need a plan to walk more....

Yes, I do. Actually got one of the Omron brands that was advertised on Spark. It is really good. I like to see the differences that I make. Reg steps, aerobic steps, mileage. Pretty interesting, and yes I log it too. It is a motivator for me!!!

The click you hear doesn't always mean it just counted a step. Mine doesn't anyway and I have a cheapie from WalMart. It was under $5.00 when I got it and it's $5.00 now.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

I used to but found that it wasn't accurate. Now I count time at minutes per mile.

I had a really cheap one once(free lol) and because I bounce my leg all the time it counted all of those bounces.....I tryed it on the opposite side I usually dont bounce but it still counted every movement I made.....if i bent over and straightened up you would heard the click and it counted it as a step so I got rid of it LOL

I have oredered a magazine and the free gift from it is a pedomitor so I will see if it is any better and actually counts steps and not every movement I make LOL

My name is Teresa.

I wear mine daily - it goes on first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I log my steps with another team, and on my health insurer's web site. I find that wearing it helps to remind me to keep moving all day. And some nights my DH will ask about my steps and offer to go walk with me (I always say "yes", even if I am over my 10,000+ goal!)

I wear mine every day and have gotten most of my Sweet Adelines chorus to start using them! When I got mine, I just stepped 100 steps, looked at it...if it was off I moved it left or right. After several hundred steps it I got it pretty close. So that's where I place it.

I heard there is a new one that is really accurate and it just goes in your pocket. I don't remember the brand.

I enjoy stepping and posting my steps each day.

Since I've gotten back into running more regularly, I've relegated the pedometer to my gym bag. But I used to wear it every day.

I have 3 pedometers and the are motivating for me. I have tried to increase my steps each day. I have tried wearing them all day long and watch the numbers rise. One I got free in mail no shipping cost either from Tylenol Arthritis tablets online.

I'd like a heart rate monitor one day. that is on my "to get" list.

Yes and Yes... I find it very motivating.

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

Do you have a pedometer and if so, do you make a habit of putting it on each day and keeping track of your steps?

I do and I write it on the calendar on my way to bed.
