They sound wonderful well at least I hope they do. tee hee. Dusting is for people who like repetition. I do it at least once a month whether it needs it or not.

I collect copper musical dust catchers..hehehe. People buy them for a lot and then discover they are impossible to dust. I don't care about the dust, so I have about 20 different ones!! I have a whole book shelf full of them. THOSE are my favorite garage sale treasures!

I am usually looking for bird house and lawn ornament makings. I love to find freebies like my duck salt and pepper shaker holder (missing the shakers) that live in my front yard. My biggest score was a hand painted silk scarf that I paid $.50 for. It is gorgeous and covers an ugly panel in my office at work.

Hold the phone! Snowflakes outside right now. Woo Hoo

I only know of the one here in Hillsboro, it used to be a Supply One store, so I always call it the Supply One Goodwill. I would suspect they might have that information on line.

I'm not sure just where the warehouse is there but there is a large Goodwill in downtown Eugene. It's in the Mall area. Many years ago we would go down to se DH's mother and we would go there with her sometimes. Check the phone book for the exact places they are.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

Where is the Goodwill warehouse in Eugene/Springfield area? Since I don't drive either, I have not been to Goodwill stores for a very long time. When the weather gets better I would like to go again. The warehouse sounds interesting.

I don't go to a lot of yard/garage sales...because I no longer drive...how ever my favorite place to go is the Goodwill warehouse where you buy things by the pound...I got a whole set of custom-made drapes that were probably worth well over $500 and at $.39 a pound and there was absolutely nothing wrong with...they actually have a pattern that matches the wallpaper here in our living and dining room...and the colors match the carpet. We bought some other things too and paid about $30 for the whole thing. I have found several things that fit me and I rarely ever will buy anything new for me at this size. I bring things home and wash it and most of it is as good as new for me.

I love garage sales!!!!!!!!! I do not like Estate sales as everything is way over priced so I stopped going to any of them.

My best find was a solid wood end table in perfect condition for $30....it is furniture store quality!

My name is Teresa.

I used to go to Garage sales every Saturday, but now my DH is not allowed to drive and I don't drive, so that puts a bullet in the whole thing.

I used to love it when we would go up to Spokane Wash to visit relatives. We would spend Fri Sat Sun going around buying at the garage sales, sooooo much fun.
We would come home with all kinds of presents for all the GKs.
They would always run out to the car, when they see us getting home, and shout " What did you find for us this time" It was great.

I seldom go to Garage/Yard sales because I do not have a car...I would prefer estate sales if I could get someone to go with me. Haven't been to a swap meet for a long time for the same reason...

Not really. Most of the time it's a ton of junk. Although I have gone to an estate sale and found some pretty nice things.

Do you go to Yard/Garages Sales? If so, what is your best find.

Mine was 3 large bags of yarn. 2 Were in the Bed in a Bag, type bags and 1 was a 13 gal. trash bag. The smallest bag was full of Specialty Yarns, several no longer made. They still had their prices on them. It was over $89.00 worth of yarn in that bag alone!
