Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

For me, the challenge is menu ideas...I want to set up a menu for the week or month to make wiser shopping choices....Perhaps others need that kind of help too...So, maybe for a little while we could pose the question:

What did you eat today? Like a mini journal. That would help me to see what others do; plus if I write down what I eat for others to see that may help me make better choices.

Just a thought....

Maybe we should have a challenge to set up a plan for ourselves and post it and report on how well we are doing.

My long term goal is to lose 220 pounds. But I need to really focus on very small mini goals(10 pounds at a time is a good one) to get there. I have lacked motivation for quite a while now and really need to work on that if I am ever going to reach that long term goal.

My short term goal is to be able to fit in my 'fat' clothes again. I'm working on 10lb mini goals too. I need to increase my cardio.

My long term goal is to lose 100 pounds-first. But I would be happy with 10 pound mini-goals. I seem to be getting no where. The problems is as I see it: I really don't have a plan...

My new goal is to find a plan for me and then do it...starting with learning how to organize and plan a good healthy menu and shopping list.

When I started I wanted to lose 150+ lbs....now it's more like 140. I have been struggling to get a plan that will really work for me and some exercise that I can do with my physical challenges. I am using the Alternate Day Diet and Low Carb.

My immediate wt goal is 100 pounds lost. I am exercising every morning (walking and doing dumbbell and upper body exercises) I am reducing carbs. I am eating salads now and then.

40 pounds gone so far.
