I've got a few since last updating as well.
Pinon 4
Konson
Bassai (my current favorite)

I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.

I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!

This last week I've been working on a new kata, Saifa. It's the first one I've been given since our belt test and it's really interesting to look back. The last 4 kata have come much easier than earlier kata, yet they are more complicated. It feels as though I'm learning faster, and it's (from what I've been told) very common.

I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.

I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!

I enjoy kata, would have to argue with Tesseracty about the evil remark.
I also train Shoshin Ryu (Japanese) and have;
Taikyoku 1-3
Pinan 1-3
Henka 1&2
Keri
Koncho
Konni
Tiatari
It's really interesting how many of the Japanese forms have the same kata. Many I've seen mentioned are 'coming up' as I progress through the ranks.
In American Kenpo I have/had;
Blocking Set 1
Short 1
Long 1
Kicking Set 1
Short 2
Finger Set 1
Coordination Set 1
Long 2
Strike Set 1
Stance Set 1
Short 3
Coordination Set 2
Long 3
Long 4
Blocking Set 2
Strike Set 2
Stance Set 2
Long 5

I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.

I've just tested for my yellow belt in Kuk Sool Won, so my knowledge isn't great, but so far I have learnt 4 parts of a 6 part form called Ki Cho Hyung. Can be seen on Youtube. Not sure if the moves are already covered by the person who mentioned the Kong Shin Bup form before, as our instructor has just left the WKSA to join the NKMA where he will be tested on the Kong Shin Bup syllabus. He was saying that if you take certain parts out of the Kong Shin Bup syllabus you are left with Kuk Sool Won. That's my 2 cents worth anyway. emoticon

Minor correction - Biggie sai is better known as Chatanyara no Sai - my sensei's instructor referred to it as "biggie sai", and so that's what we usually call it in class, and I blanked on the proper name when typing the last post.

I suppose what you all are calling kata's we call forms. I am only a yellow belt so i haven't learned that much yet. I know the first 5 sections of Lohan, a four directional form, and have gotten a tiger form down about half way through

The style of Okinawan Karate I studied (I am on a looong hiatus at the moment) is called Shudokan Karate-do. It sounds very similar to what NURSENOX describes as Shi to ryu -many, many kata. I only made it as far as Shodan and but I believe my Sensei said that theree are over 150 in the curriculum. It borrows heavily from the other tradtional Okinawan styles (Shuri-te, Naha-te..)

The signature forms of Shudokan's founder, Konken Toyama Sensei, are called the Kioku (rising sun).

Let's see...
Pinan 1-5 ( a lot of karate styles have these- I like the Shorin ryu ones.
Naihanchi 1-3 ( also Shorin ryu, other styles as well)

Shi to ryu has a version of a TON of different kata, b/c it's a combination of Naha-te and Shuri-te. Some favorites... (I don't know all of these myself, but have seen them all done a lot!)

Sanchin
Seienchin
Saifa
Tensho
Kurunfa
Unsu
Bassai-
Tomari bassai
Matsumura bassai
Suparinpei
Kushanku
Kankudai
Seipai
Gekisai 1 and 2
Annan
Annanku
Gozushiho Sho and Dai

There are a lot more, but that's a start for ya! For sheer volume of kata, you can't beat Shi to ryu. Just look the style up on youtube, and you're sure to find a ton. Hope that helps!

P.S.
Due to profanity filters, had to type the name of the style kinda funny. There should be no space between "shi" and "to".

I don't know any Taeguks - I came from the ITF, although I'm not with them any more, and perform the Ch'ang H'on pattern sent created by Gen. Choi, Hong Hi, as follows:

Saju Jirugi (4 direction punch - exercise)
Saju Maki (4 direction block - exercise)
Saju Tolki (4 direction thrust - exercise)
Chon-Ji
Dan-Gun
Do-San
Won-Hyo
Yul-Gok
Joon-Gun
Tae-Gye
Hwa-Rang
Choong-Mu
Kwang-Ga
Po-Eun
Ge-Baek
Eui-Am
Choong-Jan
Juche
Ko-Dang
Sam-Il
Yoo-Sin
Choi-Yong
Yong-Gae
Ul-Ji
Moon-Mu (okay, I'm still working on the last 3)
and then I have these in front of me, if I ever test again:
So-San
Se-Jong
Tong-Il

One of my reasons for wanting to lose weight and get into better shape is that I may be testing for my V Dan next year - and I'd like to survive the experience!

You can find the movements for everything above (except Saju Tolki) here: www.itf-information.com/patterns.htm

I also study the Taegeuk forms, plus a couple different ones here and there. The ones I know so far are: Ki Bong Hyung, Sa Bong Chi Gi (one of our hardest forms to learn), Taeguek Il Jang, E Jang, Sam Jang and Poong Alhn Il Dan. My next two forms when I advance will be Sa Jang and E Dan.

Mmmm... kata... more limited than I'd like.

I am also a TKD practicioner, but of the Chon-ji forms, so:
Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, Do-San, Won-Hyo, Yul-Gok, Joon-Gun, Toi-Gye, Hwa-Rang, Choong-Moo (some of this one... used to know it all but have forgotten some)

I also know a staff form and a form from jiu-jitsu. Sadly, I don't know the names of either.

References:
(This one is clunky, but has the wonderful picture diagrams that help alot.)

Kata is evil! (I go to class to work with other people, solo stuff is less interesting to me)

That being said, I have done

Sho Shin Ryu
Pinan 1,2
Several Taikyoku (they're all pretty similar)
Henka 1,2
Keri Kata

Judo
Nage-no-kata (it's the only Judo kata, but it's really 5 in 1)

Sajaruki left and right side
Freespunk Style (I'm not sure what the Koreans call it, I think it might be just my dorang, and it's a pain in the butt to learn)

Chon ji
Dan-gun

Here's a link so you can see the pictures and all of them have video for free.

One of my goals is to learn as many katas as I can manage to store in my brain. So lets use this this forum to list all the forms that we know, then we will be able to look up forms that we want to learn.

Please list your katas and if possible the style that they originate from.
Then if anyone knows of any source to look up kata, videos would be best, but picture forms can be good too. please list those resources also.
