The have PT and OT 3x times a week, where I have a set of exercises a week. I have done this appx a year. I spoke to my PT and OT about doing something more. They have both said that, "I can do nothing more."
I told them I need to do something more. I asked my PT if I can walk up and down steps, she said, "Yes I can." I have started up and down 1 flight of steps.

I hope this takes the extra weight off me.

This week did the standing abduction variety where you pass your raised leg across front of the other. I do a different style abduction regularly. This was a good change of pace & a tad more difficult.

Used My Fitness Coach for first time yesterday & it took me through several new exercises. There was a heel jack (think that's what it was called) and a hopping / kick combo thing that were new to me. Really enjoyed them too.

Did Coach Nicole's Jump Start video for first time this week. Got in 2 reps. Man oh man what a cardio workout it gave me, even with the modified / easier stepping version that I had to do when I just couldn't do all that actual jumping.

Wall sit with dumbbell bicep curls - in SP strength.
&
Kneeling rollout with ball

Used 5 lb weights & did 2 sets of 12 reps. Arms were pretty tired & thighs were really feeling it.

Last night, I did the 5 mile Walk at Home DVD by Leslie Sansone - It has the boosted walk (jogging). I enjoyed it.

Try one new exercise a week, whether it be a machine at the gym, Spark exercise demo, a Spark DVD, a kickboxing move, etc...I think you all get the picture!

Time involved does not matter, just try it!

Then, in this thread, post which exercise you tried.

You are more than welcome to post extra details, like the amount of time you spent doing it, etc., if you'd like, although not required.

The person with the most new exercises tried at the end of February wins!
