Protein. Any sort... chicken, cheese, eggs. Keeps the hunger pangs away really effectively.

One of my fave hunger buster is a hot cocoa and coffee freeze.
I love it because it is very low in calories and tastes very rich.
Mmmmm....Want one now.

Depending on how many calories I have left I usually go for either a piece of string cheese, grapes, or I'll slice up an apple and eat it with some Better N Peanut Butter. Every once in a while, I'll just have a piece of chocolate if I've left enough calories for it and have eaten all my "healthy" fruits and veggies emoticon I have come to realize that even if I have enough calories left for a "treat", if I haven't eaten those good nutritious foods my body needs each day, then I need to use those calories for the good stuff.

I find an ounce of nuts a good hunger buster. They take a while to chew and pack a good amount of protein which is very satisfying.

What are your favorite hunger busters? What do you reach for when your hungry so you won't reach for chocolate?
