I usually have an egg and a coffee with milk at home and have a piece of fruit after I get to work.

When strawberries or blueberries are in season, I'll have a fiber one cereal with berries and milk instead.

If I'm really late, I'll grab a yogurt or a fiber one bar on the way out the door...

Apple, trader joe's turkey bacon-2
trader joe's buttermilk biscuit, with marg and s.f. jam that was hard not to eat more than one biscuit, right out of the oven, yum, prayed a lot, and said I can eat more than 1 if I want to, but each, biscuit is 5 points, by themselves, and said if I want another one, i can have one for lunch, and ate mindfully. Well, what I learned was, they didn't stick with me at all, hungry. Watched hubby eat 5 of them. That would've been me. They are so good, I want another one, but remembered the mantra, that, the first 3 bites are the best. emoticon

Breakfast is usually a big meal for me as it keeps me free from craving foods all morning. I find I need protein balanced with fat and carbs to make that happen.
today I had 2oz lean beef breakfast link sausages, one large fried egg, one TB butter, 2 oz rye toast, 2 cups of tea with 2 TB honey and 2tb 2% milk. that was 651 calories. Larger than usual but I was way below calories yesterday and very hungry this morning as a result.
the good news is that this breakfast kept me satisfied all morning, through the noon hour and I just had a yogurt and fruit for lunch and feel satisfied. It is all in how you balance and what the total looks like at the end of the day. emoticon

Workdays I have 30 grams of oat bran cooked, 3 ozs. of almond milk, tsp. of chia seeds, handful of blueberries and raspberries, 1/3 of a banana sliced and 1 seven grain small slice of toast with a chipotle laughing cow cheese. Coffee of course with stevia. Today is a day off for me so I had a special breakfast. 2 slices of English Wiltshire bacon rashers, 1 poached egg, 1 slice of seven grain toast with chitpotle cheese spread, half a mango and 2 fresh strawberries. Coffee. This breakfast was 340 calories. A little more then what \i normally eat but I find I don/t get in enough calories on the weekend as I snack less. So I make up for it in the a.m.

Sitting here trying to decide this morning. A lot of yours are my normals. Especially the yogurt with fruit, oatmeat and blueberries or boiled eggs.

Wanting something different this morning! Taking boiled eggs into woods for lunch break during morel hunting so don't want eggs. Hmmmm.......carbs and protein still unplanned on todays balance plan.

I am having the tub (not individual cup) of organic plain greek yogurt with 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter, 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats (right out of the container) and 1/2 tbsp of mini chocolate chips all mixed up together, it is fabulous!

I eat an orange or 1/2 grapefruit, 1 cup of a lower calorie cereal, such as special K redberry or 80cal honey squares available, in USA, and 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese or 3/4 cup of fat free plain greek yogurt with 1/2 cup of frozen berries. On alternate days I eat 1/2cup of egg white scambled with onion and peppers in it, whole grain light english muffin with 1 tsp. of olive oil margerine and 1 tbsp. of sugar free jam and an orange or 1/2 grapefruit.

I have had the same breakfast for about four years now. I love it, and it satisfies me for several hours.
1/4 c. dry oatmeal, cooked with 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. frozen blueberries (put on oatmeal as soon as it comes out of the microwave)
2 T. chopped walnutes (I chop a large quantity about once every two weeks to make it quick)
Springkling of Stevia sweetener
1 c. skim milk (I put about half on my oatmeal and drink the rest with my morning vitamins)

One day at a time. One hour at a time. One minute at a time. One choice at a time. We can do it!

I eat breakfast on the run so I have something I can eat in the car. Banana and a hard boiled egg. Peeled before I leave the house of course. No peeling while driving!!!
