Yesterday I got in 60 minutes (30 min WATPs + 30 min on treadmill). Got my water intake done and now this morning I did my Day 3 of strength training and 45 minutes of WATPs. So onward to next weeks challenge and trying to keep my water intake up there w/ 3x/wk strength training.

Thanks to Vee from Cando we have our next challenge lined up. She was even good enough to post it a few days early so we have time to find our workout buddies before the challenge starts on Sunday. And don't forget folks, you can continue to work on an "old" challenge if it was something that was helping you in addition to starting a new one. I'm still working on my crunches from last week (haven't done 100 in a day yet, but I'm still trying to get there) in addition to working on this weeks challenge.

Speaking of which ... I got in 60 minutes of exercise today ... 30 aerobics and 30 yoga ... and I ate all my fruits and veggies like a good little girl. My mother would be so proud of me.

May you always have

I did well today. Got all my fruits and veggies, stayed on track with my whole menu for the day and ended up right on target with my calories ... 1413 with a range of 1200 - 1550.

I also got my exercise done ... 30 minutes of aerobics but only 20 minutes of strength training on the Wii. I made up the other 10 minutes doing a couple strength exercises from the spark exercise list. My knees are killing me ... too many lunges I guess.

Tomorrow I'm doing aerobics and yoga.

The challenge week is almost done and I haven't posted mine yet, although I have been doing it.

I made it to the grocery story and picked up the necessary provisions to stay on track with my eating, so I met both of my goals for yesterday.

Today I'm scheduled for aerobics and strength training. Haven't done them yet ... eating is on track so far.

Yesterday I stayed on track and met my exercise goal by doing 30 minutes of aerobics and 30 minutes of yoga. I also managed to get my fruits and veggies.

Today I completed 30 minutes of aerobics and 30 minutes of balance exercises. I'm doing well so far with my fruits and veggies but have to stop at the grocery store to pick a few things up before dinner in order to complete my goal for today.

Hi "C", I recorded yesterday and did well.... I exercised, ate lots of raw veggies and drank my water and recorded it .... Yippee, hope I do as well today. :) If I don't lose these bulges I'm going to have to grow taller and I don't think that is an option at my age of 47 yikes. :)

I did well on my water intake yesterday. I drank 9 glasses. It seems if I have to record it other than on the nutrition page, I do, do better. So onward to today, so far close to 5 glasses and it's noon. Tomorrow working on ST and water again.

So far so good today. I have already had one fruit serving for breakfast and have two more fruit servings and four vegetable servings on my menu for today.

I sat down and worked out an exercise schedule for myself yesterday. I'm doing at least 30 minutes of aerobics every day. In addition to my aerobics I'm doing two days each of the yoga, balance games and strength training on the Wii Fit. That will give me a more varied and well rounded exercise program. On Sundays I'll rest, or just do a 30 minute aerobics session.

I've gotten so far off track, I could start or restart on absolutely everything. But for now I will work on tracking ALL day EVERY day for this week. I need to be more consistent. As to the exercise, I started a second job last week, so until I get adjusted to that, exercise will be hit and miss for now.

Ok Kelly, what is the one thing you are focusing on?

Yes, starting small as they say is what works so to get a habit going start w/ one. I just had to stick my ST in there along w/ the water because I tend to slack in the strength training area alot. I really need to be more diligent in that area.

The water is easy for me to do. I drink a 33 oz'r on my way to work and a 33 oz'r at noon when I walk on the treadmill. Then I usually drink water in the evening... If I can get my butt to the gym in the evening I will polish off another 33 oz'r....

Wow! This is a great challenge, there are so many things I need to focus more on this challenge could last me months!
Knowing myself, if I try to do too many things at once I'll stress about it. So I hope no one minds if I focus on 1 thing this week and that is drinking 8 glasses of water (64oz).

Well yesterday, Sunday, I did not do well on focusing on my water. I am so bad when it comes to weekends. Striving today to get in all my water b/4 8:00 p.m. but the positive side of today already is I did get in my day 1 of strength training for the week, now 2 more days to schedule that which is Wednesday and Friday. Good luck on focusing on your challenge for the week and let's us know how your doing. Have a great Monday!!

I'm going to follow JRMINTSMEG's lead and concentrate on my yoga and strength training this week. I always get my "Leslie Walks" in, but am really bad about doing any other exercise. That has improved since I started using the Wii Fit, but I still focus on aerobic exercise and pay little attention to the other things.

My second area of focus is to get all my fruit and vegetable servings. I've been slacking off on that lately.

Good idea. My first goal is to drink a minimum of 64 oz of water per day. I get so busy during the day and sometimes forget to stay hydrated. My second goal is to do 2 Jillian Michaels Shred workouts and 2 Biggest Loser yoga workouts in addition to my running this week. My work is very busy in the winter and I find myself slacking on cross training and strength training, though my running is consistent.

Good challenge.
I am feeling stressed out by the class I'm teaching for the first time, because it would gobble every minute of my time off work! It is a ton of work, but I'm loving it. So, my challenge is two-fold:

1. To begin the day by reading 1 chapter of Isaiah. Next, to spend a few quiet moments the Lord without interruptions just to tell Him I love Him. Then, pray for my loved ones, my fellow rangers at work, and the students in my class. This is my very best time investment, because it makes my whole day positive no matter what negative things come my way.

2. Go to bed earlier.

Audrey

So, tell us what your are focusing on and track it here to make yourself accountable. I am focusing on 2 things - my water and my 3x/ this coming weeks strength training. This is doable - so lets do it and be active here.

What is the ONE THING you need to focus on this week to make it a habit?
Maybe it is drinking your 8 glasses of water every day
or getting in your 30 min of cardio daily,
or making sure to get 4 to 5 fruits and vegetables in daily,
or measuring your portion sizes each and every meal and tracking.

Maybe itís losing a pound this week or getting in your strength training 3x or more this week,
but whatever it is, it will be the one thing you will focus on for this week and do you best to achieve it.
