I took a break from strength training and concentrated on aerobics and yoga today. Tried a couple new yoga poses today ... man am I tight! I need to limber up a bit.

I'll try my crunches again tomorrow and see if I can exceed my previous "record" of 72.

Great job Ladies, keep working at it. Do what you can do as long as your doing it, that's what counts.

But I like to give the muscles I've worked one day a break as recommended so I am going to try and get my 100 and more exercises in this evening after work w/ my aerobics. I am quite sore from Wednesday workout for 10 min.

I do the bicycle crunches in two sets of 40 each day. I'll try to up it to 50 reps per set this week and make it to the 100 per day.

I checked out the core exercises and found the reverse crunches. I also checked out the crunches with a twist and the "regular" crunches. Did two sets of 12 reps of each. That moves my record up to 72 crunches in a day. I'm making progress ... slow and painful progress.

I like all the variety of "crunches" they show you on the fitness tracker under core exercises. The one that is really tough for me is the leg raises. It really works your lower abdominals. It is so effective to have these weekly challenges even if we don't always get to the high number, we are still trying and that counts for a lot in my book!
Keep working ladies, we can do it!!!

I haven't made it 100 crunches in a day yet. My best to date is 60 ... and that's just "regular" crunches. I'm not familiar with the reverse crunches or pendulums, or maybe I just know them by different names.

Yesterday was my strength training day. I did 50 reg crunches, 50 reverse crunches, 15 pendulums, and some other pilate moves.

How are we all doing w/ our exercising and making the challenge?

This week's challenge comes to us from OBOEMOM ...

"I would like to submit a challenge to do 100 crunches a day for a week. I was part of a similar challenge a year ago and it worked!"

We started doing crunches last week; it looks like we're going to kick it up a notch this week!
