Atkins Diet - super low carbohydrate diet that I did in 1974. after my initial week of dropping 6 pounds I didn't lose any more weight for 7 more weeks of compliance. However, I got to eat a lot. I ate all I wanted of eggs, meat (including bacon), 4 ounces of full fat cheese a day, real cream in my coffee, and a lot of saturated and unsaturated fat; limited freggies - virtually no fruit and even had to measure my lettuce. It was a very difficult time in my life and I didn't gain, but it's not appealing to me and it can't be healthy.
