Well done, Theresa!

I haven't worn my pedometer daily this week (I tracked steps for 6 weeks from mid-April to the end of May, and am taking a little time off of being obsessive, LOL), but I have managed to get on the treadmill for 30 - 40 minutes each day so far. From my historical data, that combined with how much I walk at my job nets me around 10,000 steps per day, give or take a couple hundred.

I was on my treadmill for 61 minutes this morn, burning 450 calories per heart rate monitor. I ran about half of it and walked about half of it.

I didn't have on a pedometer, but I did have on my new heart rate monitor. I burned 119 calories in 26 minutes. I walked the dog. I did some arm pumps to keep my heart rate in the zone. I figure it must have been about a mile and a quarter or so.

I did 3.5 miles in 35 minutes on treadmill. About 20 min was running and 15 was walking. Enjoyed it -- even the intervals of 8mph!!

I did about 5 miles on the treadmill in 50 minutes. I ran 3.1 (5K) miles of it in 29 min and 25 seconds.

Found my pedometer. I did a warm up walk this morning, 4.5 mile run, and walking cool down. I've racked up 23881 steps today. My pedometer says 19.1 kilometers. Must of bumped it. It used to be in miles!!

Me and pedometers .... can't find mine again. But after dinner last eve I decided to exercise. I'd had kids all day and then cooked for daughter and SIL. So I ran 2 miles and walked one mile right in my neighborhood. The fun part was Natalie. She came out to the end of the driveway 3 times to give me high 5's as I ran passed.

Well, I kept that pedometer going maybe a week. Now I've lost another one. I walked 20 minutes this morning before work and 30 minutes during my lunch hour. I'd estimate I've walked a little over 3 miles in my 50 minutes.

I ran Lake Hollingsworth in 27 minutes. I thought it was 3 miles, but I was just told it is only 2.8 miles. Pretty good anyway. I walked a bunch, too, but didn't measure it.

I did 65 minutes on the elliptical. That was at least 4 miles worth of walking. I also did an hour of Zumba, but I don't know how to convert that to walking!!

I did 3.3 miles on my treadmill this morn in less than 50 minutes, including 5 slow minutes of warm up and 5 slow minutes of cool down! I did not run any today. Top speed was 4.3 mph.

Today I Zumba'ed for 45 minutes (I'd estimate the equivalent of a 3 mile walk at least) and did the equivalent of over 2 miles on the elliptical. Then I did a body sculpting class, so I feel good today!!

Yesterday my daughter wanted to workout at the gym just at the time I had planned to workout. Since she is just 3 months post partum, she probably needs to workout worse than I do, so I gave up my workout. However, when she got back I had her watch the kids while I took a half hour walk -- with a 5 minute jog interval -- before I cooked supper. I also spent several hours cleaning house yesterday so I think I got my activity in. Some day I'm going to buy another pedometer.

I am so glad that you all are able to continue with your walking and with this thread. After my falling flat on my face with both arms in casts, it really isn't in my best interest to walk due to the lack of balance I have at the moment. Totally unsafe!!! Keep going and I'll hopefully join you all in the spring!!!! emoticon

I walked over 2 miles in a line this morning, but I criss crossed and went back and forth. I'd guess I walked 4.5-5 miles outside. I walked outside one hour and inside one hour. It was great!!

I walked 10 minutes outside, rode bike 10 minutes, and then did a Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds for 45 minutes this morn before Natalie came to play.

Unable to calculate. Chased the 2-1/2 y/o grandson all day for the last two days. I'm sure I walked at least 172 miles.

I burned 307 calories on the elliptical in 46 minutes. Then I walked about 15 minutes.

I hope not. However, most of my work days are spent sitting emoticon . When I exercise I usually do DVD's with some days walking.

The nice thing about walking is that I can do that when I'm away from the house. Most places are cooler than Florida.

I picked up a great pedometer from Amazon.com. I had read a review somewhere and it had been recommended. It's made my Omiron. Besides giving the number of steps, it also give the number of Aerobic steps, the distance and time walked, and calories burned (after you set weight). It also keeps informtion for seven days. The name on the pedometer is "Walking Style".

Great totals, Theresa! I still haven't bought a new pedometer, but I walked for over an hour this morning and threw in quite a bit of jogging, too.

This morning I walked briskly for 70 minutes with a great friend. I estimate we walked 4.6 miles. Some day I'll get a new pedometer.

I've gotten three walks in on my visit. Brought my pedometer for two. Plan to walk tomorrow. Picked up a water bottle with handle to use as weight. Will do arm exercise as I walk.

Sun walked 5,364 steps (only 4,859 aerobic). In 55 minutes only made 2.3 miles. I was with big group of people--pace on the slow side.

Today, Thurs, I only got out for about 30+ minutes. I walked 3,848 steps (3,716 aerobic) for distance of 1.94 miles.

By hook or crook, I will make it tomorrow. If I do, I'll have 37 weeks of exercise for my streak.
