I am sore from the weekend challenge. I think the Squats is what really got me. My thighs are what is sore. But it was for the team so it was worth it!

Lol, beverages were the easy part! I was pounding water like there was no tomorrow trying to rehydrate from our power walk from the parking lot to the church (a couple of blocks away) in dress shoes - and then waiting around in the heat for photos! And since I was driving home, alcohol was out of the question anyway... but I don't really drink much anymore... the last alcohol I had was NYE 2006!

I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

I haven't been around this weekend, but I am glad to see everyone is doing so great at the challenge.

Audra- Congratulations on surviving the wedding, but sorry to hear about the sinus headache. Weddings are a big temptation for me with all of the beverages available.

I am trying to help out on the challenge a little bit this evening, but apologize for not doing more over the weekend. I went out of town to my parents and they don't have internet access!! What a bummer!

I hope that everyone is ready for the weigh in, but I am a little scared this week. I haven't been doing so well, but think I have not gained!! Thank goodness.

Hey team... I survived the wedding and the road trip... I still haven't had anything to eat today because I slept in and woke up with a horrible sinus headache. All the trees are in full pollen producing mode right now, it's hell for alergies. I'll be posting later and trying to help on the challenges... now I need to break fast!

WOW!! Im gone for one day and come back to us being the top losers. That is totally awesome!!! You gals so ROCK!!! And the weekend challenge you are all doing a great job on that too.

Here's to keeping our #1 status at tomorrow's weigh in!!! You go girls!!!

I did a lot of walking around yesterday with our shopping. We did lunch but I just wasnt in the mood to eat. My oldest daughter drove us crazy because she took so long to buy the stuff she needs and it added a lot of stress to the day. We didnt get to do all the shopping we planned.

Next weekend our town is having an "Old Timers Day" so I will be gone then too. Ill be walking all around town then.

You are all doing fantastic. I am so looking forward to seeing the numbers tomorrow!!

Hello everyone,

I am so sorry I haven't been around this weekend. It's been busy, this is the weekend my step-son comes over so lots going on. I have been doing really well however. I just got finished doing my Bender Ball System and that was some serious crunching. I stretched really really good afterwards, so I am hoping not to cramp up tonight. The weekend challenge looks really awesome. I just checked it out but I didn't take on the latest posted challenge because I wasn't really sure how to do it. But the challenge is a truly awesome idea.

I have never seen more motivated people. I think everyone really believes that they can do it, and that attitude is really infectious. I have never felt more determined to follow this thing through. Thank you to everyone for your beautiful spirits and go-get-em mentality.

yay - its a beautiful sunny day here in Vancouver!!! Off to the gym (leg day ugh) and to walk the dog on the beach. I love sunny days - so happy!

Just did a BLC challenge. This challenge makes it hard to walk away from the computer - BUT the sunshine is calling.

Ok Crushers a BLC challenge has been posted and we can only win by participating.

Let's see if I can explain:
An exercise is posted the first person to do it and post that they have done it gets a point for their team. That person then posts the next exercise. I just did 30 jumping jacks and assigned 10 lunges each side. I don't know what the exercise will be by the time any of you read this.

Thanks for the "luck" for tomorrow. I will definitely be "good" and not overeat. I've been weighing everything, so I'm really learning portion control... and I've come too dang far to blow it now! But it's still so stressful to think about since it's an unknown!

Dawn - Great Job with the 4 lb loss so far this week!

Audra - Good luck at the wedding buffet. I hate (well love) buffets...it's so hard to keep control; even if you stick to the healthier stuff, it's difficult not to over eat.

I am so looking forward to the weekend - it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow, here in Vancouver (which has been rare lately). I love to take the exercise outdoors.

Tonight we are going out for dinner (Italian - big salad and share some pasta) and then to Mama Mia.

Dawn, four pounds already is fantastic. I weighed this morning to check my progress, and I am up a pound. Although I also feel really bloated, so I will just be really good all weekend and drink my water like crazy. I'm really hoping to have a 2lb loss. So far I average right at 2lbs a week, and I plan to keep it that way. So I will work really hard this weekend and be really careful with my food.

Hello Team!!!

Sorry I haven't been able to post.. I've been very busy with work and school.. and had a migraine yesterday... but having a good week for weight loss, so far lost 4 pounds this week and hoping to lose 3 more by Monday!! Exercise hasn't been good at all, only doing treadmill a couple times a week, and wall pushups here and there..going to catch up on exercise this weekend, working out in my yard, and using the gym... my class work is very difficult for me, and is taking up all my free time.. I'll be done for the season with school next month, so I will be able to fit the exercise into my schedule.

I'm ready for the weekend! I was off work today so I kicked things off with a high fiber/protein breakfast before heading to Costco!

Good news - they are now carrying Bellatoria Ultra Thin Crust Pizza!!! They demoed this a few months ago, and I fell in love with it - but haven't been able to find it anywhere else. When I was there today - they had 3-packs of the Chicken Garlic Alfredo - which was my favorite! One THIRD of the pizza is only 320 calories!!! It's like a huge treat! I pair that with a salad and I am in heaven. I encourage you all to check for it in your areas - it's really good! I did a happy dance in the aisle and told everyone around me to try it - I'm sure everyone thought I was nuts - but I'm still to happy about finding it to care!!!

Tomorrow is going to be a challenging day since I'm headed to the Bay Area for an evening wedding... lots of driving and unknowns at the wedding. Although I don't like cake, so I don't have to worry about that... and I heard that it was supposed to be buffet style food with chicken... I'm definitely packing snacks and good travel food to keep myself on track. Wish me luck!

Good morning everyone!!

Well the weekend is upon us AGAIN. Are you ready?

I know weekends are challenging and most of find ourselves giving in to some kind of indulgence. What we need to do is add extra minutes or do extra sets of an exercise if we give in. Create some sort of balance. After all it isnt good to deprive ourselves either. So your goal this weekend is to try and add extra time into your routine for exercise. Whether you give in or not.

I wont be around tomorrow, we have to go to town. Its usually an all day thing. By the time we get home Im usually exhausted because there are so many stops. I think so far we have 6 different places to go. With the twins it gets a bit hectic, especially if they are getting tired and want to nap.

That said Jane will also be unavailable, she will be on vacation until Thurday. So please keep checking on each other.

I am looking forward to seeing the numbers for all the teams as well!!!

Good morning right back at you LARRSJ...and all of you other Orange Crushers! I hope everyone has a good weekend and I hope everyone stays on track, exercises and eats healthily!

I, unfortunately, ate like a hog yesterday. I pretty much stuck to the things I "can" eat but consumed too much. I just couldn't seem to get full so hopefully I will do better in that area today. I did manage to walk on my elliptical 1 mile, did 20 wall push ups (I can't seem to remember to do them in the bathroom or I could surely do more than 20.) and 50 crunches.

I dont know what it was but I didnt sleep even 10 minutes last night. I just tossed and turned. Now my eyes are burning and I have to go to work. The plus side is its another day of playing with the babies! YAYY!

Well I moved up to the Intermediate DVD of my Fluidity System. She really kicked the you know what out of me. But I really needed to push myself to the next level. I am sure I will be walking weird again come tomorrow. We did about 120 crunches in the video and 35 push-ups, so I was able to get those in as well.

I went to NBC to vote for Biggest Loser, but I'm confused... are we supposed to vote for who we think should leave or who we think should stay???

I've been in a funk the past few days and kind of went off my eating plan. The scale and my body have been protesting, but I just couldn't get my groove back! Hopefully today I broke that...

100 wall push ups today! 40 mins on the treadmill and a bunch of stuff with the weights Yay me :) (Sorry, I gotta toot my own horn to get my motivation back up)

I admire all BL contestants for putting themselves out there for us all to watch, critique, judge, admire, etc. They are AMAZING. I am so proud of them. I can't imagine leaving my loved ones for 5 months. All I have to say about that is - thank goodness I get to try to lose this in the comfort of my own home, with NO video cameras!

I will not be sad to see Mark NOT cry anymore after next week, however...hee hee

The wind FINALLY died out, I hope it doesnt pick back up again. Its was terrible today. Couldnt even see the suburban and its parked 15ft in front of the house.

emoticon Everybody! Congrats on all of the loses. I think we should go for a 60 lb loss for next weigh in!!!!

I like doing those reverse crunches with the ball. Last night I was out digging in my garden for about an hour and a half. Good calorie burner and using a lot of muscles. I made it bigger so I can put more flowers in it..lol.

Thanks everybody!! LOL With the bathroom push ups I have been doing 30 everytime because it is easier to track. I've also been drinking a lot of water (guess I am thirsty from the push ups LOL) I played volleyball last night and plan on jumping rope tonight.

Great job mesmerwings!!! I know what you mean with the pants...lol...I think all of us can agree, that is the greatest feeling when we can actually stand up and zip up our pants!!! The push ups when I go to the bathroom are working great for me too...the more water I drink the more I go to the bathroom and the more push ups I do...so all in all a plus on all points!!! I usually weigh in on Thursdays, so today was hard to not step on the scale...but I only like to weigh in once a week...so can't wait to weigh in on monday...this weekend I am planning alot of outside activities with the kids, as the boys have to pass out bags for Goodwill for their cub scout pack...so I will go as long as they can go...and with their energy...we should get in a pretty good walk!! Keep up the great work everyone!! WE CAN DO THIS...TOGETHER!!!!

You are not alone, I feel like I have done thousands since monday!lol I feel like I drink, urinate, and do push ups, and repeat all day! Oh well, I think that is the idea to make us stronger!
I hope everyone is having a great day! I know the calories are going great for me today and that I am going to the gym right after work, so that should go well too! I didn't do so well with the gym on tuesday, I skipped because my sister was in town and that was the only time I could get to see her.

Wanted to share a triumph with my team.

This morning I noticed I did not have to lay down on my bed or pull my pants together to button them. I am so happy, so now I am ready to go down to the next size. That is my next goal anyway.

Also is anyone else doing a ton of pushup because of all the water they are drinking? Tell me I am not alone LOL

Audra, I like Roger too but I just want the girls to have a better chance. Kelly will have it against him though. I never really liked Mark too much but he has grown through his experience.

Mimi I always have lack of energy issues. I also feel good after a workout. With the babies I cant just workout when ever I want to anymore so its so hard to get motivated. I use to workout in the mornings and evenings, now its when I catch some time.

Ok we had great numbers for losses, lets see if we can beat that number, even if its by 1lb!!! We are a new team and have something to prove, we can hang with the old dogs. LOL

Great job everyone!! I hope everyone is having a good week so far and thanks for all the encouragement and kind words!

Last night I walked a mile on the treadmill, did 50 crunches and did 20 wall pushups. I felt pretty good about that....I still just wish I had an abundance of energy! I can't seem to get a grip on that. I always feel 100% better when I exercise, it is just the "start"...the getting my hiney off the couch that is always the killer. Does anyone else suffer from a lack of energy?

TBL - we watched it tonight - I was so, so, so, so, so happy for Kelly and Ali. I've been rooting for Kelly from the get-go. I'd love to see a woman win, but I'm hoping that Roger gets to make it to the finals since I personally like him so much more than Mark... but if he goes to the finals, he'll probably win since he had the highest starting number. Otherwise, Kelly's really got a shot at it since Mark can't possibly lose too much more than he already has. I can't believe how big they all lost this week. It was insane. 15 pounds and the lowest percentage? Unbelievable!

I posted earlier that I would get to them as soon as I could. I just havent had time yet today to do percentages and such. Its been busy here on the home front. I thought I have them done by now but, nope not yet. We have 26 team mates total, as of right now.

I will try to get them done later when things quiet down. The wind is blowing like crazy and the fine dust is coming thru where I have to sit and Im sneezing like crazy and it makes me feel like Im suffocating. Ughhh. The dust is coming from the fields because our stupid neighbor let a controlled fire get out of hand and burnt our fields and nearly our house. Damn desert wind!!!

I will work on things later. INQY will also have numbers done tomorrow or friday also (I think).

Im glad they werent real sick then. We send a lot of babies home with breathing machine/treatments.
Those Synagis make a big diffrence. But sorry to hear they have ear infections. As a matter of fact there have been a lot of twins born this/last year! As far as that goes, must be something in the water...lol. I see pregnant women everywhere! I even have 3 cousins that are pregnant. One had hers yesterday. Another is due anytime now. So babies, babies, babies!

Yay Shed da lbs on going to the gym!! Keep it up.

Great job on the distance you walked Mimi!! I use to only be able to stand half a mile on the track.

Marlena, about a month ago they were on borderline for RSV but yesterday they just got the last synagis shot and of course on the 3rd bout of ear infections in less than 2 months. You are right though RSV has been pretty rough this year. I am just thankful we didnt have anything serious. The boys were 2 months premature.

I will be sending the weights in shortly and I will get everyone my numbers asap. I have to tell you as a team we lost a total of 56lbs. Awesome job, keep it up!!!

I didnt do any of the wall push ups yesterday. Will try to get them in today. Yesterday I did do 80 crunches and 30 this morning.

Your babies had RSV? Im glad they are doing better. I work in a Pediatricians office. RSV has been really bad this year. Poor little babies! Thats hard on them!

Wow, Marilee...500 wall push ups? That is amazing...you rock! By the way Happy Birthday....today is my sister's b-day too!

I didn't get any wall pushups in yesterday....but not because I wasn't in the bathroom, LOL! I did accomplish something though that I haven't done before. I walked 3 miles...all at once. My daughters had volleyball last night and they had an indoor walking track so I took advantage of it. It felt great! I usually walk a mile and occasionally 1 1/2 miles but I have never made it past that...on anything. It is amazing how good exercise can make a person feel.

Good morning orange crushers!
Yesterday was a good day for wall push ups and water for me, but not such a great day with my eating. I went over my calories for the day by about 800!!!!! I hate when I do that. Today I am determined will be better!! I too have a single room restroom at work so wall push ups are easy for me. I hope that everyone has a great day for new eating habits and work outs! This orange crusher team has given me a lot of motivation! THANKS I needed it! lol
