I did my weight in my last post, here are my measurements.

Bust - 51 Inch
Waist - 46 inch
Hips - 56 Inch

So far, since Monday I have been really good. I used my treadmill both days, 45 minutes at 3 mph on Monday,
Tuesday I did HIIT for 20 minutes (+ 5 min each warm up and cool down) 3.5 mph for 2 min at a time with 3 min at 2.5mph (for 20 min)
Today I will do at least 45 minutes again at 3.0 mph.

I drank 5 bottles of water which have 16.9 FL Oz each
I also got a good chunk of my fruits by making a fruit smoothy for breakfast yesterday and today.

I'm really excited to start this challenge! Here is my info to add to the group--- very painful and eye opening experience to measure myself.

I struggle with eating between 3-5pm. That's when I am most hungry and where I just grab whatever to fill me up!

For those of you who are here for a challenge, here's your first one:

Those of you who say you don't get enough water, add two cups of water to your day tomorrow (April 1), and post up how many you have. If you don't meet your 8 glass minimum, we'll have an exercise for you to do.

For those who don't get enough veggies, add two veggies (or fruits) somewhere in your day tomorrow (April 1), and post up your totals. If you don't meet your minimum, we'll have an exercise for you to do.

For those who say they have trouble with emotional eating, if you have a situation where you are tempted, count to ten, and go for a quick walk, or find an exercise on spark to do. Post up your results. If you give in to temptation, you will have an exercise to do.

You wanted a challenge--here it is!

So far, we have 11 out of 27 members who have given their weight. If you know anyone who may be on this team, and you don't see them posting, please encourage them to do so!

I haven't posted my measurements yet--but will be doing so tomorrow. For those who haven't posted measurements, please try to do so as well. Every pound and every inch counts! :o)

I am so EXCITED about this challenge!

I struggle with getting enough vegetables & fruit and water.

My life is fast pace and when I pre plan I achieve more! So one of my goals for this challenge is to start to pre plan my meals.

I am so glad that we are doing measurements. (I started measuring myself last month)

Yay! I am really excited about this as well. I am hoping this will keep me motivated!

1) My Goal for this 8 weeks is to lose 20 pounds and maintain at least 5 days a week of exercise (treadmill at least 5x a week, and strength training 2x)

Welcome Team Green! I know we have some stiff competition, but I believe in each and every one of you, and I know these next 8 weeks are going to ROCK!

Please post up your current weight asap (if possible no later than Tuesday night, so I can have info tallied by Wednesday), and take your measurements this week so that next week we can start logging your inches lost. If you don't have measurements, spark has a tape measure that you can print out and use, or you can find a flexible measurer at most fabric stores. I highly recommend it! I measure, and measure everything. You don't have to get *that* thorough, but hey, every inch counts, right? :o)

Please post up one short term weight loss goal for this week, then give your long term goal for the 8 weeks of the challenge.

Also, if you feel comfortable enough to do so, please post one thing that you struggle with on this weight loss journey.

I'll start:

* Current weight 271.5
* I measured today and will be keeping track of that on a weekly basis for this competition.
* Short term weight loss goal for this week: get below 270.
* Long term goal for the 8 weeks: get to 260.
* One struggle I have: emotional eating.

Congratulations, you a part of the Green team!!!

Over the next 8 weeks your captain (MHARVESTD) and co-captain (MDNORTON) will lead and encourage you to your weight loss goals for that time.

At the end of this 8 week challenge, you are more than welcome to sign up for the following challenge; either staying with you current team or choosing to move to another team!

Each team is run a little bit differently but the basics are the same:

1. Set an obtainable goal for 8 weeks!
2. Be supportive of your teammates!
3. Participate as much as possible; the team with the most interaction is usually the one that wins!!!

Starting week (this week) you will need to post your starting weight! Weigh ins will be Monday (or Tuesday) If you weigh on a different day, thatís okay; just use the recent weigh in. Your team captain will be reporting back to the Organizer by COB Wednesday!

TEAM STATS (Pounds Lost & Percentage Lost) will be posted on Thursdays!!!!

Occasionally there will be team challenges; these usually hit over the weekends, since thatís when most of us are vulnerable.
