Hi Ladies!

Looks like everyone hit a bit of a plateau this week (myself included) but that just means we will really kick butt this coming week so we can hit our first target...5lbs by next Wednesday!!!

Our mini challenge of the week is to double your steps per day.

The federal govt states that you should walk at least 10,000 steps per day. If you are like most people however you do not get close to this # in an average day. So today, measure how many steps you take and tomorrow double it!

Have fun and keep us informed by telling us how many steps you do each day!!

(My target is to hit 5200 steps today!)

218 this week. I'm the exact weight I was last Sunday. I'm confident it is because I am building muscle. I've exercised for 14 days straight and have been tracking my calories everyday.

Same weight for me this week. :(. But I've had a couple of big loses the past couple of weeks, so maybe that's why I stalled this week. I was just hoping for a 1lb loss so I could hit my 20lb mark officially. But... I did really start working out this week. No idea if that has anything to do with it, because I've stayed within range for cal, fats, carbs, and proteins.

I'm doing well on this challenge..I'm averaging around 150oz a day. its hard too... I've been off soda since Monday and am getting fidgety without the caffeine... Not a coffee drinker, but considering a bit of tea.

Just realized I didnt post my weight yesterday. I weighed in at 265.5. And I will do good with this challenge this week cause I already kick butt with water intake. I pretty much get 120 ish oz a day on a regular day. :) Good luck to everyone else on this challenge. Drink that water ladies!! emoticon

Just the challenge I needà. I've been trying to get in more water, but I've been drinking more diet soda than I should.
I have a bit over 100oz, but I'm home most of the time...

Mini-challenge of the week:

Drink daily the # of pounds you need to lose in water.

So if you need to lose 20lbs then you need to drink 20 oz of water each day.

And no, I promise you will not float away if you drink 100+ oz of water each day! But I bet you won't drink as much other stuff either. So get out those water bottles ladies!!

I'm glad to hear you had a great week with cardio.

I'm having a great week. I've exercised 7 days in a row which is huge for me. Mostly walking with half a Couch25k W1D1 thrown in. It kicked my butt. My leg muscles are sore but it's a good hurt. I haven't gone over my calorie limit since I started a food journal 3 weeks ago.

I missed signing up for the HLC challenge and I know I am going to need something to keep me motivated so as I am always the competitive type a challenge seems perfect!
So I am challenging YOU to lose 5lbs by Halloween, 15lbs by Thanksgiving and 30lbs by Christmas.

Very simple rules.
1. Post your current weight and reason you are accepting the challenge
2. Post your weight every week on Sunday (no reason to start Monday's off on a scale)
3. Track your food daily in SP
4. Do a minimum of 15 minutes of exercise every day and record it
5. Check back every Monday morning for a mini-challenge of the week
6. Have fun!!!
