I'm sorry but I don't have any advice, either. Also in a similar position. I will be 35 in February, weigh 295 (thanks to regaining alot of weight) and one of these days I would love to weigh in that same range as your goal. I am feeling lots of pressure due to my age and how overweight I am, but I don't want to have a miserable pregnancy either. I'm curious to see if anyone has any suggestions!
Good luck to both of you!
Being overweight is hard. Losing weight is hard. Chose Your HARD!
Gemini ... I am sorry I don't have any answers...but I wanted to wish you good luck.
We have similar circumstances (I am 284 and I am trying to lose weight so I can conceive within a year) and similar goals (I would also like to weigh 140- 160 lbs eventually).
I know there is a lot of pressure to lose the weight when you are trying to conceive, especially when you have a timeline.
And a lost of worries. I worry about not being able to conceive, having weight related complications, and gaining back everything I lost + 50lbs.
It is nice to know that I am not the only one....

I weight 285 lbs and I would like to get down to 140-160 lbs in the end, but I also would like to have at least two more kids (I have a 3 year old son). Is there any suggestions for losing weight before having another child so that I don't gain 50 like I did with my son? I would like to be under my before conception weight of 239 lbs as soon as I can, but only lose up to 2 lbs a week. I am hoping to conceive at the end this year. What can I do, and is it possible to lose that fast?
