I havent posted on here since March when I decided to start losing weight again. I sid I would be happy with 6-8lbs per month. I didn't actually get my butt in gear until mid-july. I have down 30lbs in just under three months. So though I didn't start in March, I have beat my goal so far.

11 lbs is hard to do since as you get smaller you don't lose as much as when you were bigger. But, I love a challenge and while I won't go for 11lbs a month, I think 5lbs a month will work for me.

My starting weight as for March 1st was 255lbs and I'll start this challenge from that point though originally my goal was from feb 14th (my birthday) to next feb 14th to be 190 (I was 250 in feb and somehow gained 5lbs in 2 weeks...grrrr).

So I guess 50lbs is my goal for this challenge (60lbs goal for a year though).

I never pledge to "lose weight" as my New Years Resolution. As stated when this was started, most fail to follow through by fizzling out and often gaining it back and then some. Though I have kept off the weight I have lost for over a year, I always just pledge " To Be a Better Me". It doesn't take much effort to be a little better than the year before in everything you are/do.

I have just been cleared for all activity after having my son. Im a first time mom and even though he isn't near crawling (6 weeks old),I'm already getting a workout. He is built like a line backer already. This is going to be one big, tall boy. That's why we call him Tank. LOL

ANYWAY - I ramble alot - I am in. Getting a late start since I wasn't cleared to workout. Like KRISTIEW30, I'm just focusing on any weightloss per month. I'll be happy with 6-8lbs per month. Though more would be awesome :)

Just joined this team and I'm not accepting the challenge because I know how fast I've been losing weight - I've already been losing for over a year. I lose about 1 pound a week. That's 4 pounds a month, not 11. So I don't want to set myself up for failure by taking the challenge.

My 2011 resolution is to never have to make another New Year's Resolution to lose weight again, for the rest of my life. In other words, get to goal weight this year and stay there and never gain it back.

I know sometimes the cravings are insane, I try to take note of them and then look for something to take place carrots and celery for the salty and crunchy I do allow myself 1 single piece of dark chocolate just one. try that so far has been working for me.

sorry missed my thursday weigh in however here are the results. I increase my cardio and increased my water. This week I am going to look at salt intake and see if how I can reduce the amount of salt in my diet, this week I also cut out all caffeine so far so good LET'S keep up the good work.
