I am back down to 288... so i lost some of what i had gained... cuz i seemed to have snuck back up for a bit... so I made it successfully one day of Christmas :)

So, here's how it ended for me! Didn't quite reach my goal, but I feel great! I'm doing a BLC right now and am down 11 pounds there, so all is awesome!

I seemed to have yo-yo'd...

I failed at my first challenge.. i was down to 280.. but somehow i am back up to 290 so all my weight loss is back :( I am frustrated, and will be trying a different challenge... soon.

Hey Everyone!

I think I'm the only one still doing this? We only have 4 more days and the weight is coming off soooo much more slowly! I feel great and am so much more active! Maybe I can end on the 11th day...That would only be 8 lbs off my goal!

I will, however, make my personal goal of 50lbs total lost by Valentine's Day! Only 2 more lbs to go! I think I can, I think I can!

Well I lost 4-6 lbs on this challenge.. that's more than i had been loosing... I am still frustrated being on this plateau and i am still eating healthily.. and trying to lose at least another few lbs ... I guess i should really change how i am doing my eating but there is only so much you can do when 5 min of exercise seems like too much on extreme pain days... trying to have less extreme pain days... Ugh!

The 12 days challenge is at an end and I lost more then what I had set as a goal for me!!

I am in also and I will count my days as weeks

Starting weight 218.3

1st day=1 lb 11/6/10 wanted to be 217.7 am 217.6 (-.7)this puts me behind maybe I can make it up next week.

2nd day=2 lbs 11/13/10 wanted to be 216.3 am 212.5 (-5.1)this puts me ahead so maybe I can make it!

3rd day=3 lbs 11/20/10 I lost 4.2 pounds so I now weigh 208.3 so I am well beyond where I wanted to be for this day so I am doing well!

4th day=4 lbs 11/27/10 I gained 2.9 pounds I know I am retaining fluid because my fingers, feet and legs are swollen but a gain is a gain so I am depressed. Now weigh = 211.2

5th day=5 lbs 12/4/10 I lost 4.2 pounds now weighing 207.0 so I am doing well!

6th day=6 lbs 12/11/10 I lost .04 ounces now weighing 206.6

7th day=7 lbs 12/18/10 I lost 2.07 pounds now weighing 203.9

8th day=8 lbs 12/25/10 I lost .2 ounces now weighing 203.7

9th day=9 lbs 1/1/11 I lost 2.4 now weighing 201.3

10th day=10 lbs 1/9/11 no change 201.3 grrrrr

11th day=11 lbs 1/15/11 I lost 1.6 now weighing
199.7 I now weigh less then 200 pounds!!!!

12th day=12 lbs 1/22/11 I gained 1.1 pounds, now weighing 200.8

total lbs lost: almost 18 pounds lost!

Ending weight: 206.3

Realize i am not progressing as fast as some others... and that doesn't bother me. Some of the factors are: i have still had an incision that is having issues healing, multiple migraines, and falls etc (see my blog).... I am hanging in here, and glad i am loosing at all! I probably would have been more realistic for me to have done 1 lb a day... for 12 lbs... but i took on the big challenge.... 1emoticon,

Well I took about a 3 week vacation from the gym and SP, it started because I caught a cold and didn't want to aggravate it by working out and then it progressed into going out of town for the holidays and then TOM coming for a visit for the first time in about 6 years. I finally made it back and am ready to get back into this full swing. But thankfully I lost and maintained over the holidays which is a first for me.

Hey Everyone!

I'm halfway there! 24 more pounds in 6 weeks is very agressive! It means I have to lose 4 pounds a week and I've settled at about 1-2 pounds a week, so I'm gonna step up my workouts and try to get closer, but I think I'm not gonna hit my goal of 48 lbs. for this challenge....BUT IT'S OK!!!

It's the journey not the result, I'm living healthier, losing weight, exercising, gaining confidence and feeling good!

I've lost a total of 36 pounds since joining SparkPeople 13 weeks ago and my life is changed soooooo next time I'll make smarter decisions when doing one of these challenges....but I still feel like a winner in this one.

So, I'm realizing that the more I lose, the longer it takes to come off. I'm almost half-way through the challenge and half-way to my goal of 48lbs lost in it, so I feel GREAT!

I am in also and I will count my days as weeks

Starting weight 218.3

1st day=1 lb 11/6/10 wanted to be 217.7 am 217.6 (-.7)this puts me behind maybe I can make it up next week.

2nd day=2 lbs 11/13/10 wanted to be 216.3 am 212.5 (-5.1)this puts me ahead so maybe I can make it!

3rd day=3 lbs 11/20/10 I lost 4.2 pounds so I now weigh 208.3 so I am well beyond where I wanted to be for this day so I am doing well!

4th day=4 lbs 11/27/10 I gained 2.9 pounds I know I am retaining fluid because my fingers, feet and legs are swollen but a gain is a gain so I am depressed. Now weigh = 211.2

5th day=5 lbs 12/4/10 I lost 4.2 pounds now weighing 207.0 so I am doing well!

6th day=6 lbs 12/11/10 I lost .04 ounces now weighing 206.6

7th day=7 lbs 12/18/10 I lost 2.07 pounds now weighing 203.9

8th day=8 lbs 12/25/10 I lost .2 ounces now weighing 203.7

9th day=9 lbs 1/1/11 I lost 2.4 now weighing 201.3

10th day=10 lbs 1/9/11 no change 201.3 grrrrr

11th day=11 lbs 1/15/11 I lost 1.6 now weighing
199.7 I now weigh less then 200 pounds!!!!

12th day=12 lbs I gained 1.1 pounds, now weighing 200.8

total lbs lost: almost 18 pounds lost!

This is a great idea! I have been away for a while and am feeling the results of that - gained 10 pounds over Halloween and Thanksgiving. This was a wonderful idea to come back to. Here is my goal:

Starting weight = 209.0 today (Nov. 29)

Lose 2.5 pounds a week

Day 1 = Dec 6 = 206.5
Day 2 = Dec 13 = 204
Day 3 = Dec 20 = 201.5
Day 4 = Dec 27 = 199 (back where I had gotten down to from 236 pounds before I caved during Halloween)

u guys r doing great, sometimes the long way is the only way for some of us :)

its never too late to join just keep in mind when setting your goals that you have less time...

i am stagnant at the moment..I have been driving so much and fast food keeps falling into my lap...ok not really i'm begging it to come to me bad bad bad
