Hi everyone, count me in too!
1)Take evening walks with my family and dog.
2)Act like a kid with my daughter and nephews. Lovin' the Wii Sports!
3)Carry baskets/recycle shopping bags at the grocery store and load my own stuff
4)Trying new recipes for my nutrition plan.
I want to work on:
1)Making time for morning fitness (5-10 minutes if not more)
2)Consistently take the stairs and skip the elevator.
3)Plan more active outtings like bowling, miniature golf and hiking.

Pray first, aim high and stay focused.

I'll join in!! I am already:
1. Having fitness time in the morning.
2. Dressing comfortably (just about everyday)
3. Cook my meals at home (just about all of them)
I want to work to incorporate:
1. Washing dishes by hand (at least 3 times per week)
2. Take evening walks with my family (again, 3 times per week)
3. Play active games with my kids everyday!

Each month SP has a new calendar that focuses on the adoption of a healthy habit. I thought we could incorporate this into a month long challenge. What do you think? Are you game?
Here is how the challenge will work:
1) Review the calendar (see link below);
2) Identify what you are currently doing consistently, and give yourself a pat on the back for these;
3) Identify what you are not doing, and pick up to three things that would want to challenge yourself to do during the month; and
4) Develop an action plan to incorporate the items identified in #3 into your life and start doing them.
If you are participating in this challenge, then come in here and chat! Your first post should include: 1) a few of the things you are already doing (let us celebrate these together) and 2) which of the items you have chosen to work on during the month. Then, each week come back in and tell us how you are doing. Also, if you have any questions, come in and ask them!
Okay, here is the details for June.
June is about following an active lifestyle. According to the calendar, "Many of the health and weight problems that people face today are related to a lack of physical activity. Although we're 'on the run' during the day, we're sedentary as we drive,
work, watch TV and use the computer. On top of that, modern technology gives us timesaving shortcuts (like dishwashers, car washes, escalators and remote controls) that encourage us to do even less. Whether you exercise or not, everyone should try to increase their activity time each day. Here are 30 daily tips that will help you achieve an active lifestyle, and all the benefits that come with it." Your June challenge is to be active!
